Not sure what you think coincidence means, but they were trying to make Jones/Ngannou, and Francis is the one who said no, so they replaced him with Gane as Jones' opponent. It's a not "coincidence" when 1 guy leaves for the other guy to not leave too and take a replacement opponent. Jon said yes, Francis said no.

Jones spent more than 3 years without fighting which at his advanced age for a fighter was basically friterring away the remaining years of his prime. You don't need that long to move from light heavyweight to heavyweight. Jones spent most of that period promoting the idea for such a fight but never agreeing to one - untjl ngannou was released and then almost instantly he signed to fight gane. If u actually believe his narrative about not ducking ngannou, there are some water resorts in the Sahara u may be interested to invest in also...

They are not going to move all the fights geographically to Saudi Arabia. Owning the organisation and the roster of fighters and using them to promote the country. That is ehat the Saudis are doing with soccer already as they own Newcastle fc while the u.a.e. owns Manchester City and psg.

Ngannou wasn't the champ when Jones relinquished the LHW belt, Stipe was. You thought coincidentally Jones just became super persuasive and talked them into a bigger contract like the same day Francis left? The new contract was for him to fight Francis, and Francis was offered like $8 million for it too but said no and left, so they still gave Jones his title fight but they had to make it against Gane.

Of course Jones was confident after watching Francis get outstruck by Gane and having to panic wrestle, which wouldn't even be an option against Jones, while Francis losing would ruin any hopes of ever boxing, so he asked for an extended time off to box and they said no.

thats exactly what I was implying lol. Even if UFC did agree to play ball with Francis now, Jones would intentionally/knowingly price himself out because he just flat out does not want the fight. even if UFC agreed, hed just move the goalpost and ask for more or "get injured"

Media is not getting their takes on Francis from Dana and UFC anymore, but from Francis, Marquel, Saudis, boxing promoters, etc.. None of these guys are UFC mouthpieces.
