DWCS Dana's Contender Series 2025 thread

LFA is clearly the getaway for Brazilians between their local scene and DWCS. It used to be Jungle Fight
I am surprised by Damon Wilson. I follow CW, and I have no idea who he is. I was more expecting Luke Riley, small Hardwick, even maybe the Solomon Irish lad
He’s been on the SD cards. There are much better cage warriors prospects but they’ve picked up Wilson and then Blair for some reason again. I guess they want more Americans? I see both being brought in to lose.

The fighter seems to confirm (1st reply)
Chasen Blair is a 7-3 American LW, 26 yo, 2nd shot at DWCS, he lost to Hassanzada and Kody Steele in the past
He fights in Cage Warriors
Samuel Sanches is a 22 yo 10-1 Brazilian LW. He comes from the Bahiana regional scene and had his last fight in Sao Paulo. He trains with Jailton Almeida and Rafael Cerqueira

Some more fighters, according to this random blog.

Felipe Franco's record is very can-crushy, isn't it....

Brazilian commission.

No idea why they're bringing Rowston back. CKB privilege I guess. Kunneman is a can crusher who's fights don't seem to be available anywhere so I have no clue what he's like.

I think this about most of the returning guys to be honest, if they lost the first time around. Despite this being 10-0 vs 11-3, it feels like a very low level fight doesn't it! I'd probably go for Rowston to win this.

Got some more names through.

HW - Brando Peričić - 30/Australia/4-1
HW - Elisha Ellison - 28/USA/5-1
HW - Guilherme Uriel - 28/Brazil/6-1
MW - Cezary Oleksiejczuk - 25/Poland/15-3
MW - Theo Haig - 28/USA/6-0
MW - Neemias Santana - 27/Brazil/7-2-1
MW - Ryan Gandra - 30/Brazil/7-1
MW - Vitor Costa - 24/Brazil/8-1

Cezary the standout from that batch imo, but Costa, Haig, Gandra and Santana all interesting fighters.

Those HWs are terrible. Cezary and Haig are both decent additions though, not sure who the others are.
