Honestly nobody should be given a contract tonight. The guy that got the teep kick ko was cool. But he didn't really have time to prove himself. Seemed more like dude he was fighting had a suspect stomach. Before that he looked pretty bar room brawl esq material.

I know it looked good on this card. But this is where the contender series bothers me. Getting a ko proves you can get a ko. But it doesn't quiet prove your ready to be in the ufc.
Instead it just gives more disposable goons making 12k to show 12k to win. And doesn't allow for true development of a fighter.

That kid is already hyped and came in on a week's notice, I'm fine with him being rewarded for the only exciting moment of the card.

You can't fault a guy for being given a substandard opponent. That's on the UFC.

(I know the UFC did actually use that argument with Greg Hardy and the wrestlerboy but whatever)

"fighters" not doing the DWCS low IQ -- violent scrap to prove their worth

- Dana serving up a much anticipated negative yet humorous response

- DC and Sanko taking note of the lack of fighter enthusiasm to go for broke -- to embrace the uniqueness of this short-cut opportunity for a UFC Contract.
