Dana is probably hoping that pandering to both men's egos by holding a White House card would entice them into coming back from their retirements. This fight will never happen

Putting aside the repugnant idea of such an undignified carnival spectacle on WH grounds, it could work. Imagine Trump awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the winner of the best fight on the card.

YOu believing Jones had some sort of ephiany over the White House thing 2 weeks after retiring is gullible as fuck
My body is ready for milking
I don't doubt he wants to fight there, but not against Tom. Giving up the belt allows him to continue to duck Tom in perpetuityI doubt he's very interested in fighting Aspinall but I do believe fighting at the white house probably piqued his interest. He has been fighting forever, he's bored of it. Even in his prime he was still partying the weekend before his fights. This is something that could make him excited enough to go through a camp.
Reminds me or Rory MacDonald who was clearly over it and decided to try and light a spark in his passion by going up in weight in Bellator. Then he talked about fighting heavyweights at an open weight format, clearly desperately trying to light a flame for his passion of fighting again. That never came to fruition so then it was the PFL tournament. Something new, something exciting to give enough fuel to be able to go through the motions once again.
lol what is the backstory here?
