It will be ridiculous if Gus, who could get a rematch with Jones soon, fights a guy who did not make weight.

Actually, he should have done that before, instead of fighting gatekeepers at HW.
 
Bad fight...if Cormier wins you ha put Gustffson on a losing streak and far away from an awesome rematch. If Gustaffson wins you kill one of the few new interesting challenge for Jones.
 
Why ruin two title shots which would be heavily hyped.

Gus vs Jones 2 will be massive - Cormier vs Jones will be massive. Why ruin the hype by derailing one of them...

If Cormier is able to make the cut and not suffer a great deal by it, Gus has very little chance.
