honestly none of these fights made any sense except the gsp/silva fight.

Silva born April 14, 1975 he's 45 now and will be 46 in April of 2021.

GSP born May 19, 1981 he's 39 now and will be 40 in May of 2021

Silva is 6 years older than gsp, and Kahbib was born Sept 20, 1988 who's 7 years younger than gsp.

The difference is, both gsp and silva were reigning champs and dominating there respective weight divisions, honestly during both of there primes there was only 2 goat's ever being mentioned, gsp and silva, not like today's list of candidates.

Since both were basically at there peak at the same time that fight would've made the most sense as the ufc's first ever goat match up to see who is the goat in the ufc.

Silva vs jones made no sense because silva was past his prime and the same goes for a kahbib vs gsp fight, even though silva has 6 years on gsp as gsp has 7 on kahbib, the difference is gsp is past his prime and it wouldn't be like a silva vs gsp when both competitors were in there prime, reigning and defending champions of there weight classes.

gsp coming back to fight kahbib makes no sense, not if he plans to try and win and vacate like he did the mw....for bragging rights to see if you can become the first 3 div champion, that's a huge risk given gsp is past his prime and like he had ring rust against bisping he definitely would have it against kahbib.

it would never define whether kahbib could beat a prime gsp or when he was at his best many years ago. you want to be able to say you beat the opponent when both of you's were at your best or equals....not one guy who's younger, fresher, or not in the same era.

gsp and silva were in the same era that's why a super fight between them made total sense back then, but kahbib vs gsp, or silva vs jones, etc.....they aren't really necessary and don't really determine who would beat who when both are at the there best or in the best shape of there lives, silva and gsp are far from where they once were.

Let it be known from this day forward, Anderson was TKO’d by Uriah Hall, lost to Bisping, lost to Weidmann twice, lost to some other scrubs before he came to the UFC, and has double digit loses while before, during and after his prime.
