I wouldnt be surprised. Not the first time Id be disappointed with a game I anticipated so much. The last one being Death Standing lol.

I'm expecting something a bit safe. I mean, these guys really only have one franchise and other than the RPG elements, it looks like it's completely out of their comfort zone. Not in just gameplay, but storytelling. This is an original IP with no source material to draw from, after all.

A lot of people are expecting the next big thing. I'm expecting something more like "The Outer Worlds". Good enough, but very familiar and VERY safe.

I will be happy to be proven wrong though. Hope they knock it out of the park.

Think there is some comic book about this world

there is a lot of lore on the world, so its not that hard to expand on some of them. I don't see CDPR and think safe but that's just me.

When asked whether the delay will affect the projected release of the next-gen version in 2021, the studio said they don't know when the patch will launch,"We're sure that it will be delivered next year, but it was not internally planned for a certain day. So, it's hard to say about the potential delay of the next-gen version.

They gave Witcher 3 a performance mode patch for the One X

I think the wait for the next-gen version of Cyberpunk is so they can work with whatever image upscaling techniques these new consoles can do to make 60fps and Ray Tracing modes possible. Using A.I to upscale a low resolution image (even a non HD one) to the point where many can't see much of a difference from a native 1080/1440/4K image

Not having to use true 4K is the best way for these consoles to keep up with performance this upcoming generation. It also seems like Sony and Microsoft are going about this in different ways and that might be adding to this walt.

If you realise that its still just a game with the usual limitations and will probably have a lot of bugs at release, you should be fine.

There will definitely be a lot of shit because people expected....I really don't even know what.

After all I've seen I'm like 99% sure I'll love this game. My most hyped release since God of War 3 probably.

Yeah

Hype level going down
I wouldnt say going down, because plenty of game were made in a short time frame. I recall that they made FFXV in like a year, and the game felt like it kind of was with the mission designs etc, but it was still fun for a while. I think CDPR can pull it off, TW3 made them mainstream, this can cement them as a top 5 dev in the industry.

No source material? Are you high?

Is this confirmed?

I am thinking this is BS. You can swim in Witcher 3.. Why would they have a problem with the swimming part?

It looks like a BS troll job to me, that's basically saying they removed practically everything, and it's gonna be "Call of Duty". Other than driving across the city in 5 minutes(which is a long time in a video game world). I mean, they cancelled "verticality exploration"? What does that even mean? No stairs in the game?

I'm not buying that post.

Ah'...now that you mention it, I do remember that. My bad. I'm old and forgetful.
One of the positives going for the game is the creator of the lore and table top game has been heavily involved. They even made a new table top game bridging the time between the OG and 2077

Why would anyone take their source from 4chan of all places?
