How dat possibility? I worked 90hr/7day weeks for like 6 months, but like 110hrs a week? THE FUCK?!?!?!?!

I think he was trying to say he worked 70 hours OT over two weeks, not 70 hours OT per week for two weeks, meaning ~150 hours total over two weeks, not 220. One’s doable, the other is not.

I suppose that comes down to CPU intensity. Cyberpunk will likely have far more cpu processing going through the "AI" of the characters walking around the city, while Spiderman they're more just props than thinkers.

@Madmick

How does the XBX & PS5's CPUs compare to the minimum & recommended CPU requirements on PC?

I'd have to double check but should be above recommended.
But cyberpunk has very odd recommended specs, the amd equivalents do not match the Intel/Nvidia recommended.. I feel it is that way due to the consoles though as the would put more focus on amd products.

I'm guessing that's why CDPR needs a number of months to develop and release an update to make CP2077 fully optimized for the XBX & PS5.

I love Deus Ex, but and as cool as third person kills were, they did pull me out of it for a bit. They felt like cinematics and not actual 'gameplay'. Changing perspectives for a few seconds is jarring. Id rather feel like I have agency in one perspective than the way Deus Ex did its kills.
Yeah, I can understand that. I really enjoyed it though, if only to see Jensen in 3rd person. The cover mechanic was cool too, however I rarely ever used my guns unless I knew it could be a one shot kill, or it was a sleeper dart, that wouldn't draw attention. I usually dislike stealth games, but Deux Ex is so good at it. Both recent titles are so damn slick! I loved that Icarus landing thing too

It really bothers me that we'll rarely get to see our character in action here, but outside Elden Ring, and maybe Demon's Souls remaster, nothing has me more excited than Cyberpunk.

I've been trying to avoid as much hype as possible, but now that it's only a month away... Just saw this trailer, I'm so fucking pumped lol. Some catchy ass tunes in this!

Want my money on the double
Want my money on the double
Want my money on the double
Want my money on the double

That Night City Song is awesome too, love that voice!

Same here, but Id add RE8 to that list too since im a RE junkie.

haha yes, ditto, I'm really excited for that too, but more for the RE4 remake. That's the only RE game proper I never finished, could never get used to the controls. I bought it about 4 times on different systems over the years, with different control methods.

I've been playing the RE1 HD release on my laptop, as it's a pretty old machine now and I'm traveling for work. it's so good! I hope they remake Code Veronica after RE4

The new Tales game is something else high on my wishlist, but it got pushed back. I can't wait to see what they can do with a true next gen game. It looks like they have some Souls inspired combat mixed in. I liked Tales of Bersia a lot, but being made on the PS3 as well, it was really held back. I'm not sure if you like that series or not. Some are hit and miss for me, with Tales of Vesperia being the standout, was a JRPG masterpiece IMO.

Are you getting a PS5 and Demon's Souls? If I can get my hands on one, it will be an impulse buy, otherwise I'll wait a bit.

Looking like the Game didn't come out of alpha until May last year, plus some more on the whole crunch situation for the game

dont understand why people would work like that. I would just find a new job and quit.

It sucks, but lets be honest, if you don't want to support products that were made under shitty working conditions you'll pretty much have to grow your own food and knit your own clothes....

A 2 year crunch is not a crunch.

The thing is, that type of crunch is normal in the industry.

What these devs went through is nothing special really

I heard horror stories from polish construction workers who worked 14 hours a day and slept 5 guys in one room

And no one cared about them since they construction guys

Gotta remember economically its dtill not the best place. Its not ukraine or russia but its not west europe either

I always forget this is a polish company. I agree people like to focus on this kind of stuff but everyone in that company is most likely living the dream compared to their country men.
