has there been any actual gameplay shown and is it really 1st person perspective only?

tons of gameplay out there now. I’ve avoided it for the most part. I think it’s only FP but don’t quote me on that. Like I said I’ve been avoiding getting to much info on this game.

It looks like most of it is FP, even the cutscenes.

I want to grab it on the Xbox One but part of me wants to hold off, upgrade my PC as best I can then get the version of it that comes with DLC that CD Projekt Red would for sure will release.

From what I've seen, the entire game is first person, but vehicles have a third person option.

All combat is first person but in vehicle has the option between first and third person.

These graphics are making me think no way it will be 60fps on consoles. Would love to be wrong.

im 100% waiting until I get a new video card for this one. Which will probably be a while with the way things are going.

You could get the same level of polish by hiring more, and setting goals that are feasible in a certain amount of time. Feature creep is something thats gotten ridiculous in games recently, inane mechanics to bloat games out to seem high quality instead of refining their core gameplay loop.

Project managers, and upper level management who want to ship products out by overworking their talent to save a few bucks is whats happening. The workers arent in unions and are prone to exploitation, and thats exactly how the cunts want it. The turnover in the gaming industry is insane.

@Dizzy wrote something like this as I read some more of the comments but I wont delete it, since I just finished writing it.

Erm...yeah?

Thats why deadlines are a thing. If there is crunch and delays, its entirely on the planning by the project managers and how theyve decided to use resources. Due to their incompetence, people get overworked and miss time with their families, hobbies, etc.

The problem is, everyone who complains about crunch still buys the games. How many people are saying "Wait, CDPR is doing crunch? Well, thats a no buy from me"?

None. So there's zero incentive to stop doing it other than some kind of philosophical position, which is entirely subjective and impractical. If gamers really cared, they'd vote with their wallets.

watching TV thought it was a new Cyberpunk commercial,,, but no it was the Marines I was like wtf.

Not a chance on PS4/Xbox One. On the new systems sure, but probably not at 4k proper.

PS4/XB1 was basically 2011's standard for a mediocre gaming PC. CP2077 is going to look and run like ass on it, just based on how horrible they ran Witcher 3.

PS5/XBX, on the other hand, we don't know. Spider-Man will run on 4K/60FPS, and we don't even know if that's pushing the full extent of what PS5 can do.

CDPR are VERY good at optimizing hardware to the greatest extent of its abilities, so while CP2077 may not be too impressive on PS5/XBX at launch, I estimate in 2021 after CDPR releases the update to help the game be more optimized for those consoles, it will be 'impressive.'
