I remember the wall running thing, but CDPR was very public about that. A lot of the other things make no sense. I never heard anyone mention classes even once, never heard a journalist say that its FPS first with light RPG elements, etc. Every journalist who's played it seems blown away by it. Also, I just looked up how long it takes to drive across the GTA:V map, and it takes about 5.5 minutes, so that's not a big deal. The whole post seems dubious.

Seems like fear mongering to me. I already decided I'm getting this day one. This has been a weak gaming year for me, and I don't see another must buy game on the horizon

AFAIK you'll be able to get the PS5 version for free if you buy the PS4 version (digitally). I would assume the same applies for XBox, but maybe not.

I'm not too concerned. They've shown too much of the game for me to believe this is going to be botched on a level similar to Anthem, which is the idea people seem to be trying to sell.

Lol there's definitely no room in the budget for a new console right now. Still recovering from the last few months. And Christmas is still coming. I'll be happy just to play it on current gen.

That's part of why I'm getting it day one. I've been so busy the last couple years I've avoided spoilers and just have a general idea of the setting and atmosphere. I want to be surprised while playing it.

I thought TLOU2 would be my big game this year. It was pretty much impossible to avoid spoilers though, and the cliffs of the plot pissed me off lol. I've spent the year replaying stuff and the only new game I've gotten into is a mobile game. Weird for me, and I'm lookin forward to having something new to play.

One of the weaker years I can remember. Thank God for steam tbh. That reminds me, you like baldurs gate? Gonna wait a little longer for bug fixes but I'm pretty hyped for bg3. One and two are a couple of my favorite games ever.
