How does this seem like youre making a subjective comment? Look below.

That seems like youre making a generalization of this year's games...

If anything, its you who has made a dumb comment by saying this....

Well then when discussing anything to do with art, if you say '3568 is a shit year for movies' when objectively it isnt, and you say 'its only my opinion duh' after youre told its not, thats a cop out.

I cant be asked with this childish shit anyways goodluck.
Yes movies, another subjective medium. Keep practicing critical thinking, you'll get there some day. For fucks sake I guess you're one of those special people that expects people to add in my opinion every time they're clearly expressing what is obviously an opinion.

It's like talking to a small child.

I normally get games well after release during steam sales. But I am noodling over getting this one, especially with potential lockdowns, on release day.

Question, if you're getting digital version of the game off steam, is there any benefit at all from pre-ordering?

Is it possible Steam goes kind of sideways from everybody downloading this game all at once? I can't help but think it's going to be huge amount of day 1 players.

So Baldurs Gate 3 recently broke steam on release. Downloads are like 750kb per second lol.

Oh boy, so Steam will likely have no chance, especially if reviews are positive. But it seems regardless. Haha, well, I have no qualms about waiting a little. Honestly, I know this isn't the best place to say this, but I think people are kinda nutty if they can't wait a few days or weeks after a game's release to play it....

To be fair though, is 750 kb a second really that bad? for a 70 gig game what does that mean, about a week? hahaha. Surely things would improve after the first few days??????

You can buy it DRM free and with no Steam-cut directly from the developers.

Probably gonna download faster too.

I usually wait for sales on games also. RE2 remake I preodered\preloaded. When I went to play the game it made me download it all over again. I even checked the steam folder and it was completely empty. Another friend of mine did not have this issue.

I've had weird stuff like that before. Steam once deleted, then redownloaded, then deleted, thenre- my copy of Prey, like 16-17gb over and over for like 3 days. Went over my isp's data cap and had to pay 20 bucks, even.

It fully downloaded the game just to uninstall and install it, weird.

That was like 3 years ago, and hasn't happened since, though.

Honestly I'm starting to have fears for the game with everything they've cut. I really hope the world feels real(ish) and doesn't feel like another boring Witcher 3 open world.

Are we sure that 4chan leak is correct, though? That's a tooooooooooon to cut out.

I'm hoping it's not. But I guess time will tell. Ambitious games have often flopped in the past but I'm hoping this one won't.

I was disappointed in Witcher 3, so I'm hoping this one really delivers. I'm dying to play a Cyberpunk game.

And if it's a letdown, fuck it, I'll play Deus Ex Mankind Divided again.

I haven't seen any confirmation that 4chan stuff is true. Until I do, I'll assume it's trolling.

I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi ( I don't mind a bit of warhammer 40k) but I'm keen for this, more the living world aspects. I love open world games, so I don't mind if the setting is futuristic. I just hope it has a lot to do in the world.
