I mean, I didn't say it was impossible, it's just not something I would ever do on purpose if it can be avoided.

Ah ok I know some PC gamers who just can't do it their eyes hurt if they try to switch back. Well that's what they claim anyways.

Literally every trailer.

They look great sure, but the FPS seems a little sluggish at times.

Rewatched this, and struggled to find any frame drops. The animation on the other hand was choppy at times. Not saying there isnt any, but I cant find much. I think the framerate is fine to me. Its clearly around 30fps.

I haven't noticed frame issues, but outside a couple of motorcycle clips with lot's of motion blur, I always see vehicles moving pretty slowly. Have you guys seen any scenes where cars are going at fast speeds with stable framerates? That will be a big tell, though I doubt we'll see any issues if you have the hardware.

I don't notice past 60 FPS either, but i'm getting old lol. I'm glad I don't, because 60 FPS is costly enough on system resources.

I'll always prefer 60 FPS, but when a game looks as good as FF7 remake does, and the FR is a stable 30 FPS, it's easy to get used to it. It's not like the game requires precision reflexes, unlike Bloodborne. I can't wait to play that on PC, or PS5 at 60 FPS.

We just have to wait till the game's release. I cant wait.

Sorry console peasant once you game at 144hz+ there is no going back.
144hz/60fps 1440 or better. I don't get how everyone can't tell the difference. "Looks the same."

I guess it's one of those things that you have to experience first hand for hours. Because then, going back to 1080p/30fps would be more noticeable.

Yea I've done it and it just doesn't matter. I've gone months without playing my PS4 just PC gaming 120fps still don't notice. My cousin though he notices right away. If his PC settings change he's on it right away and goes and checks all his settings.

All this talk about FPS lately between people who notice and those who don't really makes me wonder what the difference is. I know my cousin tends to be better at me with these sort of fast paced games and I wonder if this is why. He also puts in a ton more hours than me though so I'm not sure.

Faster/more realistic animations and camera movement. At 30fps it can be choppy, at 60-120 it looks smoother.

My fear is the trailers are too good to be true and the final product doesn’t have all the extra shit that makes it look so awesome (a gazillion bright neon signs, lots of people on the streets, etc...)

they’ve done this before with the Witcher 3. The E3 Witcher Or one of the gameplays was full of extra stuff that didn’t make it in the final product...

Game trailers are like hos. You can't trust em.........

i think it's weird that this game is so anticipated (seems to be the most anticipated game since rdr2, possibly moreso) but is coming out on ps4/xbone... after the new consoles are already in the hands of reviewers. i figured they'd want to make it exclusive to the new consoles to push them.

but perhaps they actually expected that the new consoles would already have crazy demand and be supply constrained.

fo'real. i'm fine with 1080, but 30fps (of any resolution) is aids.

Not that surprising when you consider the massive installed base for the current generation consoles. It would be leaving money on the table to not release it on them.

It was also likely developed with the current gen in mind, and built from the ground up for that tech.

But yeah, the days of a true generation leap on day one, where you can only play new games on new consoles are long gone. The tech is all fairly relative that we're essentially all playing on different strength PC's, and it'll be a good year or two before this gen is truly obsolete.

It should be safe to say the game will be at least be a solid 8, 9, or 10/10.

If you’re expecting a 11 then you’ll most likely be sitting with the 40 Year Old Virgin through the holidays.
idk what im expecting. Im an RPG fan but not really a fan of RPG shooters. I loved Witcher 3 though. just think its weird that we customize a character and can change clothes but cant even see the character itself in-game. Seems like poorly thought-out User Experience
