Locked Cyberpunk 2077 **Delayed**(Release: December 10th, 2020)

There's clearly major issues with bugs, and or performance.. it recently "Gold" and yet it's being delayed again.
 
They're saying "Cyberpunk 2077 almost evolved into being a next gen project", which makes me worry a bit about perfomance on PS4. Wasn't gonna get a PS5 until early 2021
 
There’s no other developer out there that would be getting away with this mess. It’s embarrassing.

Lol I took a holiday for the PS5 release and this game in particular. I was struggling with which to play first but it was always gonna be Cyberpunk. I guess Demons Souls is gonna be have all my attention now.

No way is it gonna be 21 day delay lol. I wouldnt be surprised for a next year release.

I think Naughty Dog have gotten away with multiple delays. Maybe not as many, but they have. The game was worth it though. I dont think the quality of Cyberpunk is gonna match it though.

I’ve never heard of a game going gold, their team assuring people there are no more delays, and then delaying again. (And like you said, I doubt it’ll be the last.)

TLOU2 got delayed mostly due to the pandemic.

Different situations. To me this has red flags all over it.
 
Never seen a game get delayed after going gold lol. There must be a shitload of bugs.

I'm somewhat worried but there's a part of me that is relieved. This November was beginning to look like 2011 when you had Skyrim, MW3, AC Revelations, Saints Row 3, Arkham City, and I think Battlefield 3.

Now I will actually have time to chew through a lot of the D2 Beyond Light shit and maybe hit up Valhalla a little bit before Cyberpunk drops.

It doesn't. The next gen versions like Dizzy said isn't coming until like around the summer of 2021.

Like others, this is the first time I can remember a game going "gold" and then being delayed.
 
When first trailer for this game was release, 7 years ago? Bro im sorry for people that wait for this game this much, honestly i already would cancel my preorder. They knew about next gen console release date and now fucked it up.
 
The marketing team and upper management have really fucked the devs. I hope the devs can atleast get a decent Christmas break but I doubt it since theyre probably gonna work on extra patches.

I got Skyrim on launch day but didn't get the Witcher 3 until about a year after release. How bad was it in comparison?

Bad. I think it was as bad as Skyrim. But I never really played enough of it as MGSV was out then. I only went back after a couple years.
