I think their champions are actually pretty damn good for star power.

the big problem is the cards are horrible lately …. The next 3 ufc cards are horrendous on paper … I’m a diehard who bets every fight if every card - and I have a hard time getting excited for any upcoming card

I mean, Jones, Silva and GSP were dominant champions that had like 10+ title defenses. Aldo, too.

That’s the point, the only guys who will get more than 1 title defense are islam and volk. Others like hill and edwards will probably be cut from the ufc in the next 4.

I watch all the fights.
My teenagers watch the fights with me.
We don't share the same favorities. They have their own faves.
We don't follow Bellator or ONE, but we may start watching ONE MT matches because those are crazy good fights.

it took him a 5th round head kick to get famous but where were all those uk people before that?

The only real star there (at the time) was GSP. Maybe Jones was becoming one. Silva was completely unappreciated while he was actually on top. Cain was never active enough to become a star.
