Could You Beat Your Middle Ages Ancestors in a Fight?

My fights were against straight up tomato cans. Undefeated as a professional fighter yes. Good quality opponents? no. I fought (and beat) far higher calibre fighters as an amateur.
I don't however understand @Trabaho coming at @Frode Falch it's completely unnecessary. It's pretty common that the average pro fighter early in their career use that time to pad their record. It's the point to get experience and generate interest from higher level fighters to have a reason to fight you. Frode could be 0-100 in pro fights but he'd still be a pro fighter and it wouldn't matter, he's still got more balls than the average Sherdogger who has no pro record.
I don't know if Frode is a tough guy and I don't care. He's got the record to say that he got in and did it which is more than 99% of users here can say.
Plus he has that look in his eyes!!!!

Now I feel badass too. I have been undefeated in MMA for over 15 years!!! All 1-0 of it lol. Life happens sometimes. And most fighters don’t have amazing records or great wins. I know a few very good fighters with nearly .50 records, one I used to train with fought in Bellator a number of times. He is very skilled but for some reason when someone hears he has as many wins as losses they assume he is a bum.

Basically things were going very well for me and then I picked up a tendon injury in my hand that never really healed and so I basically just gave it up. Too many issues with that hand after it that I didn't want to end up supremely arthritic in that hand so I just dropped it. 18 years of competing down the drain and I don't miss it at all lol.

At least you don’t miss it. I guess that’s the most important part. I imagine how much it would suck to be one of those guys who think about it every night and can’t do it.

Not gonna lie, it bothered me for years I never went further. But every time things started to get rolling something would come up. Being single it wouldn’t be an issue, but married with kids you have priorities. At least I feel great now since I started this knight fighting stuff. It totally has been scratching that itch.

One of the great parts is you don’t need to train like an MMA fighter for every damn fight. Just stay in shape and train in general and you’re good. Only time I will train similar to a real camp is if I ever get to the point I compete at Nationals and the the World Championships.

My life quality went up a million when i stopped training mma.Best choice i ever made was stopping chasing mma career lol

But not the women. The only concrete proof of a concept of evolution is the care and respect and tenderness sustained as a human line to the necessity of the worship (it can ease up/pedistal thought), but there's still an indelible massive simplicity in, not a sanctity (eyes are so bad),, because magic doesn't even have to be reciprocated. And no spells are evil, they're just strongly tied wishes that really good shit that should've happened, did and wll. And the depth of the sadness of humanity is that when people in crazy days sought or bought or sold or were thought to have sold a potion so that you might be loved, grasping for magic, the courage to try to find it, the ugliness to hunt the thought.

A guy who only throws nut shots and eye pokes is gonna lose to a guy who knows BJJ and can also throw nut shots and eye pokes.

Yeah of course.

I'm just saying. Don't expect cavemen to respect bjj rules.

When you go for your side control cross face you may get a few bad surprises such as your nose bitten off or an eye gouged out.

A few 100 years ago the life expectancy was 50 or even less...
People were poor malnourished and small.

But some how that makes them super strong and great at fighting....
That isnt how statistics works, there were many deaths during childbirth but it was not uncommon to be 80 or 90 even in roman times. The busts of ancient philosophers all show men in their clearly 70s and 80s, wealthy people lived just as long as we do if they survived to age 5.

Child 1 dies day 1
Child 2 dies aged 5
Child 3 dies aged 95

Average age 33. But someone lived to be 95

Depends on which ancestor. A lot my ancestors would have been peasants, working the land or menial jobs. Physically and mentally tough, but small and worn down by hard labour and poor diet.

Some of my ancestors were probably warriors, in a time when the only ranged weapon was the longbow. So all the fighting and killing was done at close quarters. In spite of being a lot bigger and better fed, I wouldn't like my chances against one of those guys.

Hell, my grandfather and father on their best days would have torn me apart and hardly broken a sweat. My dad served in Malaya with the SAS. My grandfather, God rest him, fought in WWII, including Monte Casino, one of the hardest battles of the entire War. Both of them Boxed as young men. On the best day I ever had, I wouldn't have stood a chance against them in their prime, never mind someone who fought in the Schiltrons at Bannock Burn.

The irony of that post is even more when you realise that @Trabaho was begging the mods to delete his account a week or two back because he posted a video of him doing some bagwork and was worried about doxxing himself. <36>

You can talk but I don't care.

I was using German style politeness and not begging. Begging includes the word please.
