So it's looking like people's relief checks won't come for weeks still (possibly May). This is pretty terrible, it needs to get done. Many people are going to be straight fucked by the end of April.

Surprisingly, banks have really stepped up to help customers requesting assistance. I was able to defer my mortgage payments with the press of one button today. Renters however, at at the whims of their landlord unless their state suspended evictions.

DeSantis won't get elected for his next term and I could see another republican running against him. Trump is going to throw him under the bus. Anyone else watching the real leader Andrew Cuomo? He actually reads, listens to the scientists and tries to understand what he is talking about. What is the mental block in Republicans brains which allows them to not be able to speak coherently on issues outside of guns, religion, and abortion? Is it something in their brains? I'm on the opposite side of a lot of issues than you are(but I'm with ya here). But this is a virus, not politics, there are idiots on both sides, we know this. This is people with compassion against idiots.... Now is not the time for partisan bickering.

Trump isn't going to do shit to a boot licker. Same with Texas piece of shit governor. They will probably be given jobs if Trump wins another term. Politicians decide to not seek another term if they know they are going to lose. At no time will you ever see party infighting, and there is no chance in hell Florida turns blue.

Considering how many major city centers it had and the elderly population and the god fearing pop that doesn’t seem to get it, Florida could be another Italy on its own. Let’s hope not. Have a lot of friends there.

The range of his original estimate was conditional, and it spanned from 26K-550K. It also didn't offer a projection for full lockdown measures at the low end.
