Yeah I certainly didn't get the vibe he was saying it was advisable. He was making the point that there would be a lot of people who are hit mildly to the extent that they are just going to go about their daily routine...and they will recover and be okay because their symptoms were mild.

Heard it over and over again today- people saying he advised people with mild coronavirus symptoms to go back to work. Pretty big misrepresentation. I am critical of a lot of what he says and does but putting words in his mouth doesn't help.

Of course, his very point is part of the reason why this shit is so scary. People going about their daily life and perhaps not even realizing they are infected will lead to that shit being spread to a greater extent.

Additionally, he should be outright telling people that, in this time, err on the side of caution and, maybe, if you are one of those workhorses who never takes any time off regardless of if you're sick, stay home and get tested.

The tough part, of course, is there are people in jobs where taking days off costs you much-needed wages.
