I don't blame him either. I blame him and every other administration who clearly had a heads up this was a strong possibility for not having any sort of actual plan or proper stockpiles in place.

The current Andrew Cuomo vs Donald Trump war of words is fucking hilarious. I know it's a serious and what not but It got beyond hilarious starting with the ventilators, beds and than to the fully lockdown of NYC that got Cuomo fired up it was the last straw

We should have quarantined NY weeks ago.

Meanwhile Biden wants the Feds to quarantine the entire country and gets a complete pass

What's Trump's overall plan and objective for quarantine?

I'm not against quarantining New York City, the counties the LIRR goes to, the counties the Metro North goes to, and the counties PATH goes to for 2-3 weeks with increased testing.

The country isn't at the point of being quarantined yet. Though I can see the country being zone quarantined at some point if people continue acting like this can't affect them.

See here I agree with Trump , Cuomo is way to lax about people moving around , no one should be leaving NY unless involved in an essential service , call it a lockdown or quarantine or whatever , people moving about too much will just prolong this

There have been multiple quotes from Democrat leaders during that time showing the exact opposite.

Trump said he didn't think they needed Ventilators. Cuomo said he thinks they need Ventilators. Trump said he's going to enact DPA to force companies to make Ventilators contradicting what he said previously, which is fine, I guess. Then Trump says he wants Governors to be nice to him or they don't get a call from Pence. I can understand it's confusing because Trump is confusing and needs people to rub him emotionally.

general concensus is the virus appeared well before christmas, so shutting down flights weeks later likely is locking the stable door after the horse has fucked off. dont forget this dickwad who keeps repeating that line was insisting on going to his gym after others on the forum pointed out the importance of avoiding such places, and predicted the virus was overblown panic....he also threw a hissy fit when i pointed that out.........#thirstingforblood

Yes, which is why I find Trump and Republicans constantly talking about shutting down the borders and flights such a stupid and worthless talking point to feed their "build the wall" tard base.
It only takes one person to infect other people. If the virus started in December, how much are you really doing with border shutdowns?. Plenty of infected people were already inside by that point.
Im not saying you shouldnt restrict acccess, but that measure is already too late for it to be truly effective. And Trump and his staff kept talking about it as if that was priority #1.
And the virus would be coming in mostly from flights anyways, so how much are you doing by shutting down Mexican and Canadian borders?

Im in South Korea, and the government gives us detailed information on the virus and where it pops up via our phones. The places that often pop for the virus have been GYMS.
Small, enclosed spaces with people coughing, sweating, and breathing on weights and machines is a pretty easy way to get a very contagious virus.
