Law Coronavirus the US GOV'T Response analysis Thread v2

Like using a condom with speed holes cut in it

A condom with speed holes cut in it provides symmetrical protection, just like a mask. Just like with the diffusion of air, if you swapping fluid densities around a porous latex membrane is the exact same as just reversing time. Cum can get in just as easily as it can get out.

Ah okay, alright then, I haven't a clue. I think people should all wear masks because benefits - which I think most people can agree on.

Yes. We should have all been masks back in March. I harpooned the Surgeon General for saying they were ineffective. I said back then that was the stupidist fucking advice he could have given.

A Senior Public Ofiicial saying something demonstrably un-true, that's generally not good. I don't care what anyone says, its a bad look.

aerosolized particles go right in the open edges, hence a false sense of protection. But if somebody ran up and spit in your mouth you’d be relatively safe.

@Hadron90 no. You explain how Trump's response wasn't inept in light of the hard numbers that America has a million plus cases and 57,000 dead, outstripping by a wide margin many other countries combined. All else is noise and distraction. Even if the real China numbers are worse it doesn't mitigate Trump's failure as evidenced by the numbers.

I know you're afraid, son. But succumbing to suicidal delusions (opening up is ok at this juncture) will only lead to your doom. Be brave. Aceept reality as it is and work with the rest of us to overcome this obstacle. Humanity ahs done it before and we'll do it again but only if the fearful recognize the truth.

The chairman of Tyson Foods is warning that "millions of pounds of meat will disappear" from the national food supply chain as the coronavirus outbreak forces food processing plants to shutter.

"The food supply chain is breaking," John Tyson wrote in a full-page advertisement published Sunday in The New York Times, The Washington Post and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

So what you are giving there is raw numbers, not per capita numbers. Per capita numbers obviously give a more accurate view at how different countries have done. And another thing is breaking things down by locality. For example, if the fault of the coronavirus response was at the federal level, then we should expect failures across the entire US. However, most of the US cases are localized to New York city. Many other states had responses rivaling those of the Asian countries that you pointed out. This suggests to me that climate and culture also play a large role.

And you didn't answer any of my criticism about your theories. You pointed out the India has performed better than the US. But India reacted slower than the hardest hit US areas, and I doubt India has a better supply of PPE. So I don't believe your reasons why India did better.

Meh. Sounds to me like another corporation begging for their share of the helicopter money.

@Hadron90 you provided no coherent criticism to be countered. 4% of the world's population (american pop) has 30% of cases. As I have already stated, these numbers show that America and by extension its federal government ran by the orange beast have had the most inept response to the virus out of all the world govenrments. This cannot be argued against. There's still time. Let go of your fear. Accept reality. Stay in. Stay safe. Beseech your countrymen to step back from the precipice. Stop leading others astray. Protect yourself at the very least.

New York State is 5% of the US population and accounts for 30% of its cases.

NYC and Tokyo both contracted the Covid virus spread at the same time

Both are extremely dense and populated

NY initiated a lock down

Tokyo did nothing

NY has 11k dead

Tokyo has 386

I wish we did whatever Japan did to make Corona 250 times less lethal.

Looks like insanely incompetent Don ignored intel briefings early on in the Covid process. Time for another investigation if you ask me. The guy is so dangerously incompetent it’s really unbelievable.

Maybe he simply thought it would disappear like a miracle... whoosh

Probably has a lot to do with the Japanese practice of wearing masks as a social custom as their society has required more tightly packed living conditions over time.
