The one downfall is now everytime some "just flu bro" or the latest is "it's just social media spreading fear bro" at work starts mouth breathing it actually makes me visibly angry. All countries of this earth will have to deal with this; or rather more soberly put by Boris Johnson "many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time". Its like a slower moving wlidfire (I think that argument was in V3 or 4 - but I think it describes the situation perfectly).

We are all going to be hit by this in some way; its not fair, its not right and there's nothing we can do to stop it, we can just slow it down, which we will. Its going to take months to go through, , maybe longer, whatever approach taken, but we will get through it and it will end.

To be blunt; there are a lot of good people posting vital info on here, which is the reason why I read it every day - it helps, thanks. There is a very real possibility that effects from this might hit a bit closer to this thread and it likely will be noticeable.

Its encouraging how much better everyone is getting along in here - Reagan was right about one thing, the whole Alien invasion/ World peace idea. So I thought in the spirit of a community; it might be worth keeping track of members who are posting in here and then stop, without explanation. Some of you have been talking to each other, mostly in a derogatory fashion, for a number of years. That's more of a relationship than most neighbours.

If I were to believe that they know what they're doing, then I might entertaining the idea of the U.K not putting their "herd immunity through mass infection" plan to work yet until they come up with a way to keep the old and vulnerable inside and protected first during the experiment.

I don't know enough about British laws to know how you can keep people of certain elderly age group inside (legally) even if it's for their own benefits though, so let's see how they gonna do this.

I have been looked at as a loon at work for the last 2 months for trying to warn people this thing may be bad. I don't know what I'm even going on about. Just stressed and venting.
