Conor's stock shouldn't fall too much

Because he took over a year off, and in that time he refused to sign contracts because he wasn't happy with what he was being paid. He looked like the same fighter come fight night, he just wasn't fighting shot Gray Maynard anymore.

If you want to tell yourself that.

Conor landed a lot of great shots, Diaz just had an amazing chin and landed accurately. I'm a conor fan, but his stock did drop and Diaz just went way up. Nate Bless.

I don't even think Nate's stock really went up much. Nate just did what Nate usually does. Conor was too cocky for his own good and finally got humbled.

Conner looked like he was going to cry... bwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwah!

Personally, I don't care about his stock. I'm just really excited for him to fight Nick. Last I checked his many fans had Conor winning by KO easily, wonder if that's changed.

It shouldn't, he's still the best FW on Earth and someone everyone wants to watch fight.

Ireland is good for four things:

1. Alcoholism
2. Shitty music
3. Crippling economic depression
4. Being conquered

This was pre-determined anyway. Go back to Paddy Ryan being made John L. Sullivan's possession. Every few years your stink hole rock poops out some ad campaign who raids some sucker promoter's pockets. Then a real man gets ahold of them, chops them up like fire wood, sticks them in a box and floats them back to the rock they came from.

Take your hero back to your country - which is the size of the county of our smallest state - and go back to bar fighting. And kiss our feet. Your masters.

You sound upset.

He looked fantastic in that fight. Haven't seen someone pick apart a Diaz brother on the feet like that so dominantly in a while. Nate clipped him with a good shot though and he just never recovered from it. It happens.
And you still can't get his dick out of your mouth. He got straight worked over and over and you say he got clipped. If he got "clipped" imagine what would've happened if it landed flush. My your rationale your boy has a glass jaw that breaks when he gets "clipped". Conor lost and I won a bunch money.

Right, I really just mean informed fans.

there were very few people who could view Conor rationally on here. He was usually viewed as the best fighter/human ever, or a fraud bordering on worked fights. My guess is that there will be an overreaction, as usual, and the people who were riding his nuts will now flip on him and call him a fraud. Check the post history of the most obnoxious detractors and see if they were saying he would humiliate RDA, then Diaz, and then Lawler.

I always wanted to see him fight Edgar at 145, and then hopefully Aldo again, and I still do.

RDA would have looked like Mighty Mouse with KO power in there against McGregor. He was way faster than Nate when they fought, Nate connected on McGregor quite a bit tonight. It would have been an easy payday for RDA.

Leg. Clean. Off.

Agreed. I truly feel RDA would have beat McGregor. I think McGregor needs to stay put at 145 and defend. Lets not keep a few divisions on hold due to the ambitions of someone that cannot hande fighting at his true weight against a guy who didn't have a camp.

Good job Nate!

I agree with you that he was doing well on the stand up but I think that one of the big takeaways from this fight is the lack of a backup plan.

Yeah, I'd say it should drop a little but he's still an awesome fighter & character. Kills a lot of his steam for now though. Which is why I was worried about this fight. Should have waited for the title shot.

I felt Conor fought different though. What happened to timing beats speed & precious beats power? He was head hunting throwing bombs. He was winning & looking fantastic but Nate is way too dangerous & has too good of a chin for that. Nate ended up being the one who employed the strategy correctly. I enjoyed the ride, sad it ends.

Did he truly fight differently or did he just face a man who could take his shots? He said that thing about timing beats speed and precision beats power but realistically anyone can make some semi-profound statement after winning in 13 seconds and nobody can really argue with it at that moment.

I think this should guarantee his next fight happens at 145. The 155 and 170 plans should be put on hold for a bit. So yes, stock goes down.
Not disagreeing with you but this fight never should've happened. Name one other fighter who wins a belt after beating 4-5 opponents at their own class that gets to move up and challenge for a belt? He hasn't even defended his own belt yet wanted to go after another belt. Screw Conor and his loud mouth I'm p4p best garbage. By that rationale Nate is like 3-4 p4p fighter.

Serious question why did Conor get gassed so quickly he never looked gassed when Mendes held him down for 2 rounds. And Conors stock wont drop to much unless he loses the next fight for me

bigger muscles require more oxygen rich blood, his heart and lungs didn't like the extra muscle

Check my signature in the OP bum, you're talking to a Diaz fan.

Nate slapped him a few times, boxed him up, forced him to turn into a wrestler, and then choked him out without a fight.

His stock should drop, he basically gave up when it hit the ground

Oh his stock just plummeted. Its the same thing I and others have been saying for months. He has a strong straight left, and not much more. One trick pony got exposed and Frankie is a good bet to gas him out and put him on his back.

Cause he got straight worked. His fighting style doesn't work when you add 25 lbs.

Because matchups, and the fight wasn't at lightweight. This has much more effect on his Robbie bid than Dos Anjos.
There is no chance he gets RDA unless RDA begs Dana to still make that fight.

Frankie or Aldo is Conor's next fight unless he vacant the FW title.

I don't think his defensive approach works when he's hurt or gassed. Relies too much on his chin and movement. Neither can be relied on when you're on queer street.
