It's a civil case, so there is no criminal charge, but the judge was instructing the court on the nature of the sexual assault at the heart of the case is that he, in effect, raped her.

I took it to mean that he’s saying Khabib is cut from the same conservative religious traditional cloth that didn’t define forced sex on your wife as rape.
