I know in the USA if you're 51% sure someone did something in a civil case you can/should vote guilty. You can/should only but guilty in a criminal case if you're 99% sure someone did something. Even if you're 97% sure you should vote not guilty.

But I'm really, really sick of these rape cases whether guys get taken to the cleaners in a civil case but there's not even a mention of trying to send him to prison in a criminal case.

The criminal case should come first and then that should open the door for civil litigation. And I'm not saying if you lose the criminal case you can't sue in civil court. I'm just saying there shouldn't be a civil case without a criminal one in cases like this.

I’m starting to think she could be just another victim. McGregor’s sister is with one of the kinihans (one of the biggest cartels in the world). There’s no way Dee could walk away from with those kids.

I used to think of her as a footballers wife type who’s just with him for the money and would put up with the cheating but I have never met a woman who would happily be with a rapist.

You know I felt at the time it was a horrible decision for Dana to allow that Floyd Mayweather fight to happen. It was just way too much money all at once.. Not Only did Dana lose him as a fighter Conor completely lost his mind as a result.

Reflecting on it I don't think he will recover reputationally from this in the way Tyson has - the spell in Jail and going broke allowed a lot of ppl to view Mike's reemergence into public approval as generosity toward a legend who ended up on the bottom rung. Like Conor isn't Trump - he doesent represent something bigger than themselves to people who therefore will excuse any beheavour bc their worldview would fall apart otherwise. He's just going to be looked at as a rich asshole once he can't even offer people what they want from him in the form of fighting for their entertainment.

On a much wider note - its important for people who engage in the sanctioned violence to shun those who inflict violence and fear on those who can't defend themselves. Being able to engage with and activate the violent side of your personality shouldn't be seen as natural follow through from unleashing it on others who can't or won't defend themselves. I am a huge fan of the OG Gladiator because it portrays a standard of manhood that we should hold in high regard - Maximus can and does fuck people up but he only uses that side of himself where it is required, in the rest of his life he's a moral and gentle man.

TLDR: Conor probably not coming back from this reputationaly, fighting doesen't mean you need to be a POS
