International Can China be doubted at this point?

Gulf Arabs are in America's pocket despite being ideologically opposite. It will just be a vassal relationship similar to that.
They are the more flexible battle tested civilization. Chinese culture is juts inflexible and did not pull of anything like Desert Storm recently.

And are free to vote for which ever CCP candidate they prefer. Lol
They have 9 political parties but even if they really only had one, so what? You only have two and both are owned by the same banksters and corporations.
Who is gonna embrace Confucius? Brazil? Ghana? Serbia?
What makes you think they care if other countries adopt their religions and philosophies or not? This isn't necessary to do business, and they're less proselytizing (which I see as an advantage when dealing with them. Nobody likes listening to a moral sermon from a hypocrite).
But secret police can just dissapear dudes so why would they be honest?
They can't, stop confusing them with ICE. If you fanatically want to believe they aren't a high-trust society, despite all the evidence proving otherwise (Edelman Trust Barometer, research from Harvard Kennedy School, etc.), go for it. I don't care about changing the minds of haters and fanatics.
reading this thread I think the only difference between the chinese population and the "western civilization" population is that the chinese know they are censored/feed propaganda and keep living their lives quiet about it (what can you do, another bloody revolution?), while the rest of the world have been drinking their own propaganda and blinding following it for so long that they spill some outrageous things without ever thinking where it came from and if there's another different sources of information about it
I suspect it's deeper than that. East Asians have higher IQs on average and consequently are more able to perceive manipulations and propaganda, while Westerners are dumber and consequently believe stupid nonsense more often.

Was reading an article this morning where the author believes the Chinese communists are much smarter than the communists in New York. I can imagine that applies to other communists found in America, Seattle, Chicago, LA, etc. American communists are not very successful.

From my experience, they may be smart but Chinese communists are not very pleasant people. They are far into the asshole range of things.

Mamdani Turns NYC into Wasteland of Corpses and Trash

New York City hasn’t had a trash pickup for 1/3rd of Mamdani’s term.

....They usually get the misery right but nothing else.

But forget economic theories about Communism and Capitalism for a moment. One of the reasons that the Soviet Union lost the Cold War was that its leaders were dumb and incompetent. One of the reasons Communist China is beating our pants off is because it’s not.

The USSR’s great idea was copying American mass construction to manufacture the ramshackle ‘Khrushchevkas’ that still dot the Russian rust belts. China’s great idea was selling our entire economy back to us. China is competent while Vladimir Ilych Mamdani isn’t.

Killing people or letting them die in the name of an ideological vision only gets you so far whether it’s in Moscow, Beijing, Islamabad or New York City. Competency is one of those things you can’t redistribute and the people most likely to want to aren’t competent anyway.

When faced with an actual problem, ideology looks for someone else to blame, while competence powers through. Mamdani was faced with actual problems right out of the gate and once he ran out of other people’s money and other people to blame, he had nothing.

And no matter how much you redistribute to nothing, it still stays nothing.

A huge part of American dominance was soft power. The US being freer in the 90s compared to the rest of the world was a huge contributing factor to their dominance.

Yes they can dissapear people and they do. I mean someone like Jack ma does not go missing like he does there in many other countries. Yes academia is an engine of trust right now. Good, since i am neither, change my mind. You do know they had decades of top down actual centralized propaganda to not who weakness towards the outside world, right?

Jack Ma is doing fine in Hangzhou and was seen recently—what the hell are you talking about? Stop regurgitating propaganda. Bye'

Didnt that happen to a couple of people through ICE lately?
Sure, injustices have sadly happened in America.

So taking isolated instances in American history, like slavery or other examples and now using that to show America is just as bad as communist China, where oppression and freedom is regularly restricted, takes some serious twisting.

We need answers here. I'll take responsibility and head over to China on behalf of Sherdog today. Waiting at the gate at Suvarnabhumi as we speak. Should arrive in about three hours.

Two big reasons to not worry about China:

1) Their population is aging badly and the one child policy means there isn't many to replace them.
2) Automation with robotics and AI will make their cheap labor obsolete in the near future.

People abuse timeline framing against China just as much, if not more. Past phenomena like gutter oil, tofu dreg, and anti-social Chinese tourists are still regularly weaponised as conversation enders that China is a uniform hellhole and inferior. They're presented as an all-encompassing, crystallised state, despite peaking roughly 15 years ago, and actions have been taken to tackle said issues.

You know people here would present things like pink slime, Mad Cow Disease, or the Flint Lead Water crisis as permanent identifiers if these things happened in China.

It is a hellhole and inferior to anyone who grew up in the West and a lot of Eastern Europeans.

I would not for sure. Some would be about any country.

Well the ccp saying 5300 total deaths from covid is very recent and kind of tells you the actual causes of death were covered up, of several million people.

If the CCP is willing to put its own non-Han ethnic people like the Uyghurs in internment camps, I can only imagine how they treat immigrants.

Probably the CCP will realize they need immigration once their workforce of nearly 1 Billion people begins aging out and its too late. Would be fun to see an influx of musilim immigrants setting up shop and building mosques in China while the CCP seeths.

You do realise Muslims don't want non-Muslim migrants moving to their own countries, right? Stop making Muslims out to be victims.

It's not only that they have some of the cheapest labor, it's that they are encouraged to try new ideas and build potentially great things. America is lacking I innovation and we no longer accomplish marvelous things.
China built a dam so big it effects the Earth's rotation

Damn, that’s damn impressive

Meh, pretty sure every dam affect the earths rotation.

Its a big ass dam for sure, but it's position relative to the equator and it's altitude are also a large contribution to it slowing the earths rotation.

is this the garbage you read? No wonder you’re so upset.

Doing just a tiny bit of googling it turns out the trash issues were a severe, temporary operational challenge lasting days (due to a winter storm) and not an indefinite suspension of service lasting one-third of his term.

They focused on snow removal which put garbage services back 24 hours.

NYC Averages anywhere between 14-30 homeless deaths due to exposure every winter. Trying to force a homeless person to do anything against their will is hard not because of communism or what ever but because of the constitutional rights afforded to them as Americans.
