News *** Conor McGregor Found Civilly Liable for 2018 Sexual Assault MEGA THREAD ***

Will surprisingly have little impact among MMA fans, but I think this might have screwed over any of his hopes to be a general mainstream celebrity/pitchman.

His only option after the UFC is BKFC.
This entire planet is run by incorrigible shitbags and a lot of them have plenty of popular support. I doubt anyone is up in arms over Conors crimes that they probably already assumed happened if they even care abut the guy at all. Also don't underestimate that a little bit of time turns the aggressor into the victim and the people calling him scum then become the mean, unreasonable people.

The world loves a shitbag.

She tried that first.
Okay So it means that the available evidence against conor is considered too weak or insufficient to meet the legal standard required to bring charges and proceed to a criminal trial.

I withhold judgment until we get a criminal case, but sadly conor is making bad decisions.

I mean you really have to be a special cunt to post this really don't you

No, losing in a civil court does not make you "guilty" in the criminal sense. It simply means you are found liable for a civil claim which usually results in having to pay damages to the other party.
It's semantics though isn't it

Legally he might not be guilty

But those involved in the civil case are saying they believe he is guilty of commiting rape

It's just legal semantics

The entire UFC industry and fans were proud of Connor's character, however he is a narcissistic man and his mask has fallen off.

He was found guilty in a court. Do you really think your opinion is worth more? You must love the smell of your own farts
Not sure where your shitty attitude is coming from. He was found not guilty in the criminal trial, guilty in the civil trial. All I'm asking for is the evidence so I can form my own opinion instead of being an ignorant person on a karate forum reacting to something I know nothing about.

I know that one of these cases got dismissed because the woman was on camera smiling and hanging out with Conor after she allegedly got assaulted. Is this that same case? Or is this another? Just looking for information here. No need to be hostile.

You never know when it is someone famous... You know it isn't about the money but you go to civil court to sue for... money.
But to be found guilty in a case like this doesn´t come from thin air.

But i hear you

Unfortunately Tyson is an apt demonstration that you can come back from shit like this publicly.

Mad respect to that woman - she was intimidated and offered far more to be quiet but she kept on to have her day in court. He’s a pathetic POS but she can know she did right by herself in seeing the world shown who he really is.

250k fine is a drop in the bucket. But sponsors could use this bad PR to drop McGregor. And that's where the real financial losses will come from
I agree, but the guy already had a ton of really bad PR dating back years and many still worked with him
Hell he even got a lead role in an Amazon movie where he had this really weird moment in an interview during the promo of the film:

And according to Conor, they offered him a role for a potential sequel as well😅
So I have a feeling this won't put much of a dent in for his sponsors sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if many of the current ones who work with him already knew about this case before working with him

Wait, Conor hasn't married Dee yet? Goddamn.
Jon Jones is the same. These dudes know they're fuck-ups so most likely they want to protect their fortune in case a very likely divorce might happen.

She is a smart girl, she allowed an open relationship one way.
Wouldn't the smarter move be marry him, wait until he cheats, then divorce him for as much as she could get? If she's only with him for lifestyle. But maybe that's why Conor hasn't done it yet.
