I think your interpretation of how people deal wit rape is likely modeled heavily after dramas. People get raped all the time, and they don't have instant extreme reactions.

When she sobered up or whatever she did go to the hospital after. It's pretty obvious Connor McGregor took advantage of her while she was intoxicated. If she is that messed up she has a tampon halfway up into her stomach, she was clearly way out of it.

An interesting observation I keep seeing is that people are saying "well, we are assuming Connor is bad just because of his bad character" - yet saying so is the same exact thing as saying "this woman who we know very little about is a schemer".



She likely did not want to come across as a slut, adultress, drug person etc, but even if she is all those things, it is rather irrelevant to her getting assaulted. I think it is quite easy to piece together that it is more likely than not, that Connor McGregor used violence on this person while they were having sex.

This is all of your own imagination, not just speculative, but ungrounded in anything we actually know. Nobody claimed this was what happened. Not Nikita Hand, not Conor's team, nobody. There's not a shred of evidence that any of this is true. In fact, we have very good reasons to think this is not true.

Because as I mentioned repeatedly, Nikita Hand sent photographs of her injuries and messages speaking to her state prior to going back home to a friend who testified, and who presented the messages and gave testimony. These were time stamped and verified in court, and Conor's legal team did not touch this. And his BF's DNA was not on her. He battered her up and then raped her using a condom? That hypothesis just didn't add up, and Conor's legal team knew this, or else they would have suggested it. They didn't even call medical experts to offer the possibility that the injuries she sustained were consensual, because everyone who was in court and saw the injuries, including experts, reporters, professionals, the jury, and Conor McGregor agreed that these were shockingly bad, and beyond the threshold of possibility of the result of "consensual but rough sex", which Conor denied.


The pending question is: how come she didn't seem badly injured in the CCTV footage and was seen going back and forth into the hotel?

When doctors were interrogated by Hand's team they said bruising and swelling from injuries take time to show, and under the influence of alcohol and drugs pain is largely mitigated. Everyone who has ever been injured knows this: say, if you fall and bust your knee, get back up and walk with some pain, morning after it's swollen and bruised and can't walk. There were bruises over her entire body that showed signs of extensive damage. Yes, she was seen in the parking lot after extremely drunk, going back and forth and in the hotel. She was on a three day bender.

You can choose to believe she wasn't injured at this point, and she sustained the injuries afterwards. But you would need a plausible story, and the boyfriend doing it doesn't check out. And the alternative that these were bruises sustained consensually in sex has been ruled out by every single party involved, including Conor McGregor.

There simply no alternative explanation that anyone has offered that makes better sense. Which is why, you know, Conor lost the trial, and nobody who attended the proceedings other than Conor's team and relatives thinks the ruling was a bad one on the basis of what they saw. Which includes, you know, the evidence in question.
