It's just inflation. The cumulative rate of inflation (link) between 1995 and 2015 is 56.1%
MSRP of a Camry, Accord or Mustang in 1995 - $14-15k
MSRP of a Camry, Accord or Mustang in 2015 - $21-22k
Here's a list of the average cover price of comic books since 1995 (link)
Average cover price of a comic book in Sep 1995 was $2.59.
Average cover price of a comic book in Sep 2015 was $3.76.
Stuff costs about 50% more than it did twenty years ago.
Also, this is a sign of thinking like an old person. Don't be that typical old person who is constantly bitching about how expensive everything is. Don't be that that grandpa who gives his grandson walking around money, thinking shit costs the same for kids that it cost when you were a kid.
As long as the illustrators/artists are seeing a major pay raise, I'm cool with it.
yeah from what I read they really killed off Logan and now made a clone of him with a teen female munat. I know there is more backstory but I dont know it.

glad about the yellow and blue
That's amazing. We have really come a long way in this society towards empowering women.
Personally, I think that all comic book characters should be women. They should all undergo a transition, and then be accepted. If you don't agree with me then you're a racist.
That character has been chick wolverine for 11 years, it's not a new concept

Do you feel less guilty being aroused by thinking of wolverine now?No I get it, and I'm totally onboard.
It's like Wolverine, except she has tits and an ass.
It's an amazing character, and personally I feel empowered on behalf of women everywhere.

The price went from $3 an issue to $4 around the same time that Disney bought Marvel.
And now, they've went up another buck... not a nickel, not a dime, not a quarter, not fifty cents, not seventy five cents, but a whole dollar.
Yup. Definatley inflation.
GSM was being sarcastic, and he clearly nailed it.I found this from last yr.

so there is a little more than just inflation.
But Prod, do they still hold value in the long run?
