Thanks , isn't he the big bad that was the reason for Barry Allen running to his death in one of DC's events ?

yes he disappeared for quite a while, Wally took the mantle for a long time

Green arrow didnt really get good till lemire came on. Aquaman has been great its whole run. I feel swamp thing has been the best book to come out of the new 52. Animal man was good as well

Yes, Snyder on Swamp Thing was great, Animal Man was my shit!

I don't have much time for comics these days but I do highly suggest Multiverse

Read the first big collection of Batman Eternal and the first oversized collection of Matt Fraction's Hawkeye over the last month.

- Batman Eternal had a whole lot of stories going on. Each issue in the collection had a different artist for better or worse. A villain I quite enjoy pops up. A lot of similarities to Gotham, outside of being Batman based and in the same city.
- Hawkeye has lots of jumping back and forth in the story. The secret tape was probably my favorite one. Hawkeye's girls and the head cards were also very good. Trying to figure out everything Pizza Dog was trying to convey was fun.

And Marvel's new team, LLLLLLLLLL-adies.

Yet again Squirrel Girl is left out via being too powerful.

Please tell me you did that in a Bill Burr voice.

bebop -- have the Sinister issues been good? How's the art? writing?

I'm kinda "meh" about it all.

they invaded Sinister's fortress that's filled with experimental genetic clones of superheroes & villains (Scarlet Spiders/Thor/Fin Fang Foom).

then you have one of the Fantomex character offshoots, rather one of his split personalities come to life - Fantomelle & her pet Fox, forget the name, they're cool though.

the art isn't all that in my opinion. the covers are deceiving because they have better artists making them. the X-Men just appeared (the dope team roster) to stop Sinister too:

Any of the newer X-Men stuff any good? Looking to give something a try and its been a while since I've kept up with X-Men.

I've been enjoying Bendis and Bachalo's Uncanny X-Men.

Most of the characters seem to have actual character progression, most notably Cyclops, who has always been a bit boring.

I think this is the freshest the xmen have felt since Morrison wrote them in 2000.

Sucks Bendis is off the title. Seems to me like this was an editorial move rather than his own decision. Secret Wars seems to be messing things up with writers over at Marvel.

Bendis did state in interviews years back he planned on staying in Xmen for many many years. Now it's seems to be finishing up in a big rush.

Rama have you heard the latest. Bendis is gonna be leaving all the Xmen books by May.

Missed your post first go, Kong.
I hadn't heard that, but tbh his run has lasted longer than I had hoped. All things come to an end. The worst part will be dealing with the poor to mediocre team that follows every great X run. I'm sure Bachalo (single tear) and Immonen will follow and McGuiness will fill in (fist clench)

It's the best x-men run in over a decade. The art is awesome and the characters are old timey good.

I don't know what tinobar is happy about.

I'm prepared for the very first post-Bendis issue to feature Jubillee stopping Apocalypse from robbing a convenient store. Pencils by Steve Dillon.

Probably has to do with the reboot they're planning. Shame, I think Bendis has the best mind for the X-Men since Claremont.

i liked gillens run so did most xmen fans

didnt read any bendis run just glad he gone so i can return to my xmen

I kind of dig the art in the first img. I can't think of the artist who did the second img but I've never been a fan. I'm going to abstain. They really haven't done a good Sinister story in a loooong time (AoA?).

lol, source? Gillens run was pretty lame imo.

You haven't even read any of Bendis' run? Why? You're missing out.

Writers seem to have a hard time with him don't they? A lot of writers used him like Juggernaut was used for a long time, bring him in only to get jobbed by another villain so they seem like a bigger threat. I'm still hoping for a cool flick with Sinister someday, hopefully after Singer is done with the franchise.

Reading some Runaways stuff for the first time. I'd seen them in crossover stuff but never tried their series. I like it so far. Still think I prefer Avengers Academy though.

cbr xbook forums

ppl were going nuts when they said they were it canning and shit really hit the fan when they announced bendis was taking over it was kind like when dana bought pride

all new xmen prolly is good but it was a principle thing it was the number one marvel book and they cancelled it beacuse bender waved his dick around and wanted to write xmen now that they were finally getting good were was he when fuking jubelee was fucking vampire

Sinister should have been the bad guy from X-Men II onward, pulling the strings, making shit happen.

One of the many things I don't like about those flicks is the bad guy usage. The X-Universe has so many great villains and Singer insists on using guys like Stryker. Why is Stryker such a huge part of all these movies? Nobody cares about him. DOFP barely even has an antagonist and it's Trask of all people.

Here's hoping Singer is finally tired of the shadowy government puppet master types. If Steven Lang shows up and he's running a government program called A.P.O.C.A.L.Y.P.S.E. I won't be surprised though.

Finally good? Bendis has totally revived the X-Men (at least New & Uncanny).

And Bendis didn't make Jubilee a vampire. What a disaster the X-Men were.
