Okay, that sounds better. I didn't want to invest in multiple titles to get the full story. I gonna check that bish out.

It's definitely one of Morrison's best books EVAH. My favorite issue so far is THUNDERWORLD where Grant brings back the old school Captain Marvel and just has pure fun with it.

misunderstood rama's question but it isn't multiple titles you have to buy

I wish someone would do some new cool stories about johnny blaze. I feel Ghost Rider has a lot of potential for stories and marvel never really took advantage of him

Thunder world was legit a 10/10 from me. Except Dr sivana gave me a slightly racist vibe with the way he looks.

Missed your post first go, Kong.
I hadn't heard that, but tbh his run has lasted longer than I had hoped. All things come to an end. The worst part will be dealing with the poor to mediocre team that follows every great X run. I'm sure Bachalo (single tear) and Immonen will follow and McGuiness will fill in (fist clench)

To me this was an editorial move because of Secret Wars. Bendis stated many times in the past he was staying on these titles for the long long haul. He even made mention to his lengthy run on Avengers.

You could even see that his storylines are being rushed to finish up.

They were soliciting some of these story arcs a year prior at the comic cons. You don't market something that hard if you plan on having your companies top writer leave the title.

So to me this is editorial driven and might even bolster you're argument that the Xmen are going bye bye.

Perhaps Bendis is gonna get a bigger title at marvel as perhaps a editor or a creative consultant higher up than the editors themselves.

But I also heard his Heroes for Hire title will finally get made.

He made mention of this while we was writing Avengers. He even stated he wanted Mile Deodatto to pencil it.

Personally I'll buy anything Bendis writes. He has never let me down

i liked gillens run so did most xmen fans

didnt read any bendis run just glad he gone so i can return to my xmen

All u do is post smack and talk shit about a titles u never even read. You never post a positive thing in this thread ever.

Do you know how stupid that sounds. You not liking something you haven't even read.

cbr xbook forums

ppl were going nuts when they said they were it canning and shit really hit the fan when they announced bendis was taking over it was kind like when dana bought pride

all new xmen prolly is good but it was a principle thing it was the number one marvel book and they cancelled it beacuse bender waved his dick around and wanted to write xmen now that they were finally getting good were was he when fuking jubelee was fucking vampire

Do you even read comics dude.

Where was Bendis? He was writing Avengers for almost 10 years and directly heading Marvels ship of story lines.

Where was he lol.

And Bendis should have some pull. He is their #1 writer. Same way Johns has pull over at DC. And rightfully so. They're both amazing writers and have done lots for their respective companies.

And lastly CBR is a Fn joke of a forum. If you go there everyone hates Bendis. Yet by the numbers he has been Marvels most successful writer of the past decade. Only the handfull of fanboy losers who are pining away for a 60s revival of comics go there. To companion about everything and just like you they don't even read the titles.

If they had their way both DC and Marvel would be out of business

Are you done reading thread bruh so i can rebuttal

son of a Monitor messing with stuff, Morrison is just showing off multiple universes of heroes

very fun book looking at all the alternate versions of heroes, and bringing some OG's back

Prod how many issues of Multiveristy have there been.

I've been collecting them since they dropped but I think I'm somehow missing an issue or perhaps even two.

I think they're selling out at my comic shop. I'm not sure.

I love Morrison and have enjoyed these so far. They're Morrison esque to the tee.

6 are you sure.

Shit than I missed more than 2 of them. I know I missed the ThunderWorld issue. My shop sold out and I'm not buying a $20 variant cover ether.

I have the first one With the Superman Rabbit in it, the Dr Fate counter world issue and the Earth-Me one that looks like a tabloid magazine cover.

I don't know how I could've missed 3 issue. I don't even remember seeing them at the store.

And also Prod did u like Final Crisis? For some reason I figure u loved that title.

you're missing Thunderworld, Pax-Americana (Earth 4 the original Watchmen), and the last chapter which is the Guidebook

I actually have never read FC, everyone says not to. I do like Crisis on Infinite Earths, Identity Crisis, and Infinite Crisis.

i just wanna make sure your done quoting me bru

orly?

Ya go post somewhere else if all Ur gonna do is talk shit about something you've never read.

If not than post helpful things here and talk about comics you like.

All I see from u is negativity about crap u never read.

Wow so I'm missing 4 books. How that's possible I don't know. Thanks though for helping me out.

And I like all those event books as well.

Personally I think Final Crisis is teetering on comic brilliance. It's so
Densely packed and there is so much going on the title does
Suffer but only because it should've been done proper justice and been 3 issues longer.

It was to much material for the issues that were printed. It needed to be longer and that's what stopped it from being truly one of the best.

Hmm.........I'll get around to reading it eventually. Have you read the 52 series? That is a great one. Johns, Morrison, Rucka, and Waid killed it

Yes I actually collected those week to week. I loved them and thought it was a great idea and they had top talent writers on it.

With DC I'm more of a trade buyer but when Morrison writes somethig I buy it monthly or for 52, weekly.

I'm slightly down on the new 52 though, I loved DC before the reboot.

I stayed with titles I liked, especially anything from Johns, he seems to have the best grasp on the DC mythos than any other writer the company has. He really has written some seminal work. JSA GL AND FLASH are just a few that he did that were incredible. Plus he has written so much other great stuff I won't even get Into it all.

I just wish DC didn't reboot. I like the new batman but I don't think it's as good as the online reviews say. Hell, it seems every issue is a 4-5 star rating. And they really aren't.

I've said it before I think Morrison batman run was far superior and did much more for the Batman mythos and history of the character.

So far I've enjoyed Swanp thing, Animal Man, Aquaman, GL, JLA and dare I say Morrisons Superman IMO was Fn great. I also loved the first 3 trades of Earth 2.

Final Crisis is... confusing. I read it twice and was still confused so I had to go online and have people smarter than me explain what it was all about. It was still enjoyable though for just how crazy it gets. You should read it in the order Grant Morrison suggests though:

Final Crisis #1
