Comey's not-so-nothingburger nothingburger

Alan Derschowitz is a zillion year old hack.

Age has nothing to do with it; also he's the youngest-ever professor of law at Harvard.

If you're more accomplished then I'd love to hear about it.

Beat me to it.

Studies show that Libs are Low-T and they are now proving that they don't even have intelligence to fall back on. How pathetic are Nu-Males? Do they have any redeeming qualities at all?

Trump could have just pardoned Flynn if he wanted and he still wouldn't be guilty of obstruction of justice.

CNN (and the rest of mainstream media) has been lying to you and your frail little mind is susceptible to propaganda. Keep grasping.
Cuckservatives: believe study claiming they are alpha, deny studies proving climate change.

Pretty typical headline games.
The story was:
Comey says Trump wasn't under investigation and Russia claims are untrue.

Instead we get:
DRumpf asked for Loyalty!

The guy asked the FBI director to stop investigating Flynns ties to Russia. Comey has made it clear, Flynn had shady ties to Russia.

Both of those are clear as day, and you think this works for Trump because legally he's safe? You're absolutely right.

Because clearly his supporters are spineless bitches with no principles or morality, and as long as the man stays out of jail, they'll defend him.

That kind of blind loyalty is usually only seen with beaten whores and their pimps.
"The scandal of Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia deepened on Thursday when James Comey, the man he fired as director of the FBI, branded the US president a liar."
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jun/08/james-comey-firing-fbi

To me, this doesn't sound like a nothingburger. We'll see where things go now that they've had a closed session to get more details out of Comey.

I thought this was pretty funny:
"Deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters: “I can definitively say the president is not a liar. I think it is frankly insulting that question would be asked.”"

What fucking planet does she live on? He's been caught in outright lies more times than she has masturbated with all the money she is getting out of selling out her own country.

Edit:
I wonder that people are making so much of Trump not individually being under investigation. I think it's obvious the intent is to investigate the most obvious suspects and look for ties to Trump in order to draw a clear and obvious line from A to B. They can always say anything they uncover is in the course of investigating these other people, Flynn, et al. so they don't have to "investigate him" per se.

I called it. The libs are now just hanging on to Comeys interpretation of Trumps eyebrow movement, although he 'could be wrong', as proof of something guilty or nefarious.

They bought into to all this fake news for months and now refuse to let it go.

Daft bullshit from you as usual, to wit:
"Asked whether he thought Trump had tried to obstruct justice or merely seek a way for Mike Flynn to save face,Comey replied: “I don’t think it’s for me to say whether the conversation I had with the president was an effort to obstruct. I took it as a very disturbing thing and very concerning, but that’s a conclusion that I’m sure the special counsel will work towards to try and understand what the intention was there and whether that’s an offence.”"

If you're talking about this bit,
"He also discussed a meeting in the Oval Office in February, when Trump allegedly cleared the room of officials, including the attorney general, and discussed the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s links to Russia. “I hope you can let this go,” Trump allegedly said."
"“The reason I keep saying his words is, I took it as a direction. This is the president of the United States. I took it as a direction.”"
It's fucking obvious when he fired Comey and said himself it was over the investigation, that Comey was right when he says he took it as a directive because he obviously paid the price for ignoring it. You're going to have a hard time convincing me this isn't obvious to you.

The thing is, alpha theory is absolute fringe science mostly pushed forward by scammers selling selfhelp books

I saw a lot of posts today from Trump defenders that read like a sigh of relief, acting like Comey's testimony wasn't that damning after all. But I'm not sure that's too close to what actually played out. Comey stopped short of saying Trump deliberately obstructed justice, but he was never in a position to make that call. What Comey said was essential what we already knew happened. (Oh, yeah, I remember when a bunch of Trumpsters were like show me the evidence! about the Memo).

Anyways, the real surprise was how personal Comey was. I've always thought he was a straight shooter, and in my eyes, he basically ripped Trump apart. Check out this sample video. It looks pretty damning to me. And does NOT take Obstruction off the table.

The narrative literally changes in the course of hours, the left (politicians) and the media have been entirely discredited.

I heard him say that... what's your point?

And here you go ignoring the long list of reasons to fire Comey and instead are all in on this obstruction angle.

If I'm Donald Trump and I got a guy working for me who doesn't trust me, runs off to write little memos everytime we speak, refuses to clear the air publicly regarding if I'm under investigation for colluding with Russia, refuses to crack down on leaks coming from within the FBI, is a known Clinton stooge, and my DOJ is recommending he be fired well..id probably fire him too.

But yeah let's ignore all that. It was all over these eyebrow directives about Flynn...who isn't even under investigation for collusion with Russia.

if anyone is unsure of who is telling the truth, Comey or Trump, just consider the two versions of events regarding their dinner.

Trump says Comey requested it. Comey says Trump did, and that he had to break off a date with his wife to attend. on top of that, he told Sessions he shouldn't be left alone with the president... so why request a private dinner?

that alone should be quite telling

"I think she was extremely careless. I think she was negligent. That I could establish. What we can't establish is that she acted with the necessary criminal intent."

"The critical aspect of an obstruction case is assessing the intent...

It's a small victory for Trump regardless, if only for the fact that it didn't make things immediately worse for him. The media circus surrounding this works in his favor too, as it created unrealistic expectations and issue fatigue. That generates breathing room for Trump to govern, which he badly needs.

This isn't going away, but it should calm down for a few days/weeks anyway.

They are completely ignoring the inappropriate nature of Trump having 9 one on one meetings with the FBI director.

No. Rational is going on for months about a fake Russia story with no evidence and the when that falls apart....LARPing and pretending that obstruction of justice will be a thing

The left is made up of a bunch of delusional LARPers now. Congrats
"I have no doubt Russia meddled in our election", sounds like all's clear to me

DRumpf asked for Loyalty!
"Wasn't", not "isn't"...

He also said some Russia claims are untrue, he didn't infer anything of the sort that there might not actually be a boatload of stuff more damaging than anything known publicly at present regarding Russia.

The headline from yesterday really should have been "Trump special counsel'd himself"...

Thread is chock full of :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:ry completely disconnected from reality. Trump isn't going anywhere because he hasn't broken the law. How much of a retarded :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: would you have to be to believe otherwise ?

Anyone who is still in support of this wasteful and pointless witch hunt has shit for brains.

You know what you bag licking Trump boys are hanging on to?
You don't believe the CIA, FBI, and Media, but you embrace Russia and people who work for Russia. The only words you believe is from the supreme leader who tweets lies to you on a daily basis. You don't have the good sense to actually read or se anything that isn't your safe space so you can continue with tribal politics. The supreme leader is a failure, he hasn't passed any legislation, he doesn't understand the office and has no clue of history or the USA's position in the world. His current reality show will get cancelled.
