Killing it Clippy...Yeah released whole set about a year ago but wanting to do reveal vids for each map. We'll... this I'd how slow I am
I liked the part where you shot the bad guy and I also liked the part where you jumped, that was pretty cool tbh. Thanks! What was your favourite part?
WTF man, haven't you heard of spoiler tags? Damn...I liked the part where you shot the bad guy and I also liked the part where you jumped, that was pretty cool tbh.
What specifically sucks? Weapon upgrades? I think those are pretty cool..I restarted Doom Eternal during the PSN outage. Gotta say these games have come a long way, but the upgrades more or less SUCK.
Yeah i too wonder what he means....?What specifically sucks? Weapon upgrades? I think those are pretty cool..
Weapon upgrades are ok, but once I get the ones I want, I have nothing else to do but upgrade the ones I never use. What specifically sucks? Weapon upgrades? I think those are pretty cool..
Limbo isn't bad if you're willing to draw yourself a map of the teleporters. Trying to raw-dog it can be an exercise in frustration. All I got to say is e3m7 Limbo and e4m2 Perfect Hatred can get fucked.
I tried both and gave up after a level or two because of how obscure the levels were. It's like they looked at the most obnoxious parts of Doom 2/Hexen and said "YES! MORE OF THAT!" When the hardest part of the level is figuring out what the hell you're supposed to be doing to advance...then you should be reevaluating your level design.Has anyone played Final Doom? TNT Evilution looks potentially doable but Plutonia Experiment seems like torture.
Yeah no kidding. I ran around for a half hour looking for the teleporter to the last key, the one on the little island. They all look the same.Limbo isn't bad if you're willing to draw yourself a map of the teleporters. Trying to raw-dog it can be an exercise in frustration.

The 'teleporter bullshit' that got me the most during a first play was e4m6 Against Thee Wickedly because the central teleporter takes you to different places depending on which direction you enter from, a mechanic not used in any other level. Nothing like introducing a new game machanic in the middle of a lava floor where you don't have time to think about it.Yeah no kidding. That's what I figured. Agreed, the one thing about classic Dooms I don't like is how confusing some of the levels are. Quake's are so much more straightforward while still being interesting. I just want to fight demons.
TNT has some fun maps like Mount Pain. Plutonia just really isn't any fun.Has anyone played Final Doom? TNT Evilution looks potentially doable but Plutonia Experiment seems like torture.
Haha I hate the teleporter bs. I just started episode 4 and haven't done that level yet but I'll watch a playthrough now for sure. The 'teleporter bullshit' that got me the most during a first play was e4m6 Against Thee Wickedly because the central teleporter takes you to different places depending on which direction you enter from, a mechanic not used in any other level. That's where Jesus lives.Speaking of E4M6 in Ultimate Doom do y'all know what this room is for? If you turn off clipping it's empty.
