lol it's definitely stuffGood stuff Clipster
This was the hardest map in Thy Flesh Cosumed for me. The difficulty was all over the place in E4 and you could tell the developers were concentrating on other projects at the time.
What's crazy is that John Romero made the entire thing in just 6 hours (began working on it at midnight, and wrapped up early the next morning). I imagine that makes it the fastest map ever made for any of the "official" Doom games.I hate this level with a passion

Yeah, it's one of those trial-and-error maps that just kills you off repeatedly until you figure out an 'ideal' route through it. The entire SIGIL 1 and 2 megawads from John Romero are very similar (especially 2, which is just plain ball-bustingly hard). Never been a big fan of that kind of design.Pure evil
You gotta die like 50 times just to figure out where the fuck to go.
@Clippy I remember about five years ago asking you if you were going to play Sigil, which you eventually did and iirc you were mostly lukewarm to it. Did you play Sigil II yet? If so, what were your thoughts on it?
u know its one of those famous wads I heard of but never got my hands onAny love for Memento Mori?
I dont want to touch sigil II, I heard enough about it to know its just needlessly hard for the sake of being hard and romero is a lil out of touch
U get itThat's gross. I watch a good bit of kaizo mario and a complaint I see a lot, and this is coming from top-tier players with years and years of experience, is that its really easy for creators of intentionally difficult levels to loose the plot. Where busting the player's balls is more important than making something that's fun to play.
Here's a direct link to the trailer (skip to ~1:50 for game play)Fallout in DOOM.
