And you guys think that he should be asking to fight another guy ranked below.

Even if blaydes was an easy match-up, it wouldn't make sense. There are zero incentive to fight blaydes in his position.

Plus, assuming his wrestling/TDD has improved, he wouldn't want to showcase it prior to fighting stipe/jones/ngannou.

Basically, you'ld like him to make the dumbest move possible for his career.

I really don't like the limbo going on from Stipe, Jones, and Francis. HW is stuck. Jon may never even fight again. Francis might leave the UFC. Who knows with Stipe who fights once a year.

I think the top 5 today would demolish any other top 5 at any other time in history, but that's just a biased opinion. I think you'll be surprised with Gane's improvement in wrestling just because he's so athletic and a fast learner. Look how Ngannou improved from the first Stipe fight to the second.

Improvements were made, but to be fair alot of that was heavy deterioration as a fighter from Stipe. He went through some wars with DC, and getting knocked unconscious didn’t help.

Gane ducking Blaydes is such a stupid move. Again the fighters just choosing who they do and don’t want to fight at will is stupid. UFC should just tell Gane “Too fucking bad, your fighting Blaydes. You don’t make the decisions, we do.” Its annoying when fighters do this dumb shit.

It isn’t smart at all. Gane should fight Blaydes who is lower in rank than him but is arguably better than him on paper. It would be a proving fight for Gane to see whether or not he deserves the rank. We UFC fans want bangers, not boring dominations (looking at you, Chimaev vs Diaz). Shame you don’t view it that way.

I am guessing you have financial difficulties. It is not that difficult. Championship money is the real money. Not arguably better on paper. Listen to yourself, "fight a lower ranked" opponent for on paper???
