Again, Trump threaded the needle winning 78,000 key votes across three states to win the electoral college despite losing the general by 3,000,000 votes, and Trump had Russia's help, and Comey's unwitting help. And, Trump and the entire GOP didn't let the fact that there was no indictment for Hillary's email investigation stop them from pushing the "lock her up" cheers and memes, to this day. :rolleyes: And that investigation didn't have a hand picked AG making the decision (Comey made the call), an AG that was hand picked specifically for making that decision after talking the case over with POTUS and his legal team.

And while we are at, there may not be any chargeable conspiracy, but all the shady behavior with Russia, all the lies about the shady behavior with Russia, Trump trying to seduce Comey in a private candlelit dinner in the White House, Trump changing his tune from kisseyface "you are doing a great job Jim" to firing Comey when he realized that he couldn't seduce him into loyalty, Trump telling the Russians that firing Comey relieved "great pressure", Trump taking Putin's denials over his intelligence community's unanimous conclusions in front of the world in Helsinki, Trump condoning Putin's killings with his "what, you think we are so innocent" to Bill O'Reilly, etc., etc., is/was certainly concerning and worth investigating, unless you are a troll like @Farmer Br0wn or are a total right wing zombie incapable of independent thought.

This is completely misleading. He specifically provided the evidence and didn't make a judgement due to the circumstances of this case. Not least of which is Trump spending the last two years attacking his credibility.

He left the decision to indict to Barr and the decision to file any other charges or subpoenas rests with Congress.

You're arguing that the President was exonerated by the Mueller report, while the fraction of the report we have contains the line that Mueller is explicitly NOT exonerating him.

You can't spin your way out of this, but keep trying.

You obviously do have a model in mind. And if it's leading you to believe something false that normal people would recognize to be highly unlikely, there's a problem with it, and a person sincerely interested in objective truth and not just insisting that people respect tribal reality would update it as a result. I also suspect that your claim that "a lot of the media" turned to some narrative is not based on any research, though you can always surprise me.

Which is true in an absolute and literal sense and no person should disagree.

But another statement no one should disagree with is that..

'A prosecutor not able to gain evidence sufficient to indict does not mean the person did not commit the crimes'.

Do you agree. Do you think for instance John Gotti was guilty or other crime lords were guilty of ordering cries they could not get evidence to convict on?

Granted that his unsolicited cover-letter to the trump administration was titled "You can never indict a sitting president that's named Trump," I'll reserve my opinion till the contents of the report are released.

Christ guys, you can have your partisan victor lap without lying about why. Just say that trump's lackey won't punish him and is keeping the reason's why a secret, but that's ok with you because the only thing you care about is trump avoiding any personal liability. You'll be able to perform the same awkward victory dance, but without all the dishonesty attached. Give it a spin fellas.

We don't know this, and I don't believe it to be accurate. Barr took the power for himself.

That's a matter for Congress, and precedent in these matters shows that.

His last letter left open the possibility of 399 blacked out pages and one line that says no collusion. Subpoena flies shortly. Fly well brave bird!
