Rumored Chimaev vs Imavov is now being planned for a title fight, early stages

I'd put him on the jan card because he's not gonna fight in Aus and then Ramadan happens until back half of March so he wouldnt fight on a card thats maybe early April. So if its not squeezing him into the Jan kickoff PPV for Paramount then you'd be looking at end of April or May.

So basically they were prepared to have him fight Rdr earlier because they were confident he would kill him

UFC is prolly thinking this is how we get more fans to watch power slap. For the life of me I can’t believe they have so many great fighters but such few fights to look forward to.

Seems to be one or two amazing months out of the year for fights and that’s it
 
Do they not like Chimaev now or something? Just give him some easy defenses to build up his name.

They stopped going out and recruiting talent from other orgs


Gaethje was WSOF champ
Jiri was Rizin champ
Poatan was Glory double champ

They came in with momentum amd quickly became stars, at least in part due to credibility from prior experience fighting.

I had heard of them and was excited for them to try their luck in the UFC.

Tbf we got Mix, horiguchi, Kai, Pitbull, and Delija. That guy who just beat mix.
Coming in from other orgs recently they've just been duds mostly but they're doing it.

Oh and the riddler who Khamzat really wanted to fight according to op.

Called it. It's Ramadan that's delaying things, and all of us said this would be an issue with Rat Lip Bitch.

He said previously, after 2022 when he fought during Ramadan, that he would shut down his future fight camps during Ramadan. So now he's not going to fight until 2-3 months after Ramadan ends. Given that it ends mid March 2026, I don't expect we see Khamzat until at least June 2026.

If Rat Lip doesn't fight before Ramadan 2026, he's a lying little Rat Bitch.

Could even be later TBH. Ramadan doesn't end until mid march 2026, and Khamzat has said after 2022 that he will shut his fight camps down during Ramadan. So if he takes a full 3 month camp after Ramadan, then he won't fight until June 2026 at the earliest.

And then if the White House fight card is June 2026, and he's not on that card, then he might not fight until July 2026.

I know this is all early and speculative, but this could easily happen if May 2026 is too early [only 2 months after Ramadan ends].
 
More time only gives Imavov more time to call up his dagestani friends and prep for the wrestling of chimaev. He's younger and improving each fight.

periera is the LHW champ and needs to focus on the weight class. We do not need LHW stalled out because Alex is going to try and starve himself to make 185. Izzy is in the weight class and while on a slide could make for an interesting fight.

It's known he isn't fighting until after ramadumb.

Assuming April is 4 weeks training for May date,
After the dumb.
