As long as people eat factory farmed animals in cages. That to me is worse than killing an animal on a reservation that at least lived a life in non claustrophobic environment.

I am not against hunting or eating meat i do feel we overconsume meat too mucj for our own health. And feel all countries should have laws outlawing caging animals or factory farming. Doing this would raise price of meat but that would be good. The west consumes more than ever in human history.


You can make a darwinist and religioud argument against the trans thing. You could also towards animals but religions actuslly say to take care and treat animals good before you kill them. I read some people argue against crating and caging.

If it was a legal and certified hunt, then the outrage is certainly disproportionate.

Reading the comments of the people who were opposed to this hunt on the Twitter page posted in this thread was far more disturbing. People were wishing extreme ills to fall upon her, and even her unborn children. That's a pathological level of outrage.

As long as trophy hunting is done responsibly and sustainably I can't say I'm all that outraged over it.

That said, aren't these safari hunts kind of like shooting fish in a barrel where the guides basically take you right to them and all you have to do is take the shot? That would kind of take away the thrill of the hunt and at that point all you have is the thrill of an execution.

My favorite type of response to hunting threads. Our primitive ancestors developed brains over brawn, creating tools from rocks and sticks, counteracting the disadvantage of not having two-inch claws and fangs coupled with hulking power and a camouflaged coat. The gun is our fang. Your profound insight is to point out if we removed three million years of our advantaged evolutionary path, the leopard would maul you to death. That would be a fair and balanced engagement in your eyes, proving that in spite of our advanced brain power, people like you remain primitive enough to say extremely stupid and obvious shit. You compound this stupidity by elaborating your wish to see a fellow homo sapien and sentient being killed by a creature functioning on a purely instinctual drive. Killing animals for food and now the sport (thrill, skill, competition, ego) is ingrained in humanity, which lends weight to it being a natural act.

Of course, none of this taking into account the conservationary aspect of these hunts, which is too abstract an idea for your primitive brain to unpack.
