Watch the whole video.
The fight happened in Brazil and the ref's name is Kleber Lopes.
Damn that ref wanted to see blood
Ref had money on baldy
Did he call a fucking timeout and let the guy get up? What the fuck lol. If that happened in a ufc fight Dana white would put a bomb under this guys car.
That guy is officially 3-0 over the bald guy in less than a minute total.
Wouldn't it be crazy if the bald dude made a comeback and KTFO the other guy?
I've always wondered how long do you have to be out for a ref to stop it? Like what if he stood back up in his full faculties by the time the other guy came in for ground and pound? I've seen guys go out momentarily but the ref doesn't stop it and no one complains. Now, of course here the guy was out of it even when he got jumped. It should've been stopped.
Yeah that was strange...
Maybe there is some kind of special rule that they have at that promotion regarding knockdowns or maybe a time limit for ground strikes, but he was clearly done after the high kick.
I imagine their conversations went something like
Ref: hey bud you good to continue?
Fighter: I CANT FEEL MY FUCKING BODY OMG IM IN SO MUCH PAIN
Ref: ok well keep going, continue please
Fighter: JESUS CHRIST ID RATHER DIE
That’s seriously fucked up.
I already thought it was baaaaad that it wasn’t stopped immediately after the head kick
Typically when someone’s body snaps up like that and is super stiff there’s no way you could possibly continue. I’ve seen lots of guys keep going after borderline kos, or go out for a second and come back etc. I’ve never seen someone stiff as a board get back up and do anything but get the shit beat out of them
Ref: Are you ok to continue?
Fighter: "Mamaaaaa, I don't wanna go to school todayyy."
Ref: Sounds good. Fight on, Champ.
*Baldy’s corner throws in the towel*
That's actually the worse I've ever seen
