Well to even label it the 'BMF' belt was something that seemed to sneak out of 2003 lol. Many on here talk about a possible 165 lb division or a 195 lb division which I don't agree with but if two fighters from different weight classes could agree at a catch weight for some type of belt... seems like something could be there but I'm just spit balling is all.

Nah, imo the BMF title should be intended for fighters who never won a UFC title, which rules out Ilia and Charles

Granted, it'd be a banger of a fight however I think Charles has got his eyes on another LW title shot. At this point in his career he'd have nothing to gain from fighting him. Illia should make a couple more title defences before considering a move up to LW

Also, I don't think the BMF belt can be defended... my guess is that it's a one- off legacy fight which brings CHAMP BENEFITS to the winner
