No idea about that. I just know that the Wuhan lab are the only people on earth that have sequenced that bat virus, and yet its trotted out as definitive proof that the Wuhan lab did not engineer Covid. There is no independent confirmation that the bat virus even exists, and China has blocked any international efforts for scientists to come to China and sample bats.

Not really dipshit. Expert opinion counts period. And then in cases like this the consensus counts a bit more until proven otherwise. It would just be nice to know for sure one way or the other. This whistleblower has some actual weight behind her claims because she is an expert. But the majority of her peers don't seem to agree as of now. If that changes in the future than so does my stance. Weinstein is a nobody as far as this topic goes. His opinion amounts to about as much as Joe Rogan's.

It's pretty obvious why the leftists are invested in the narrative that the lab had nothing to do with it. Same reason they call Trump a racist for calling it the China virus. If it is believed by the American public that the Chinese government let the virus out and lied about it then it's going to help Trump. He's painted China as the enemy and this would solidify the fact they are in more peoples minds. Give us a common enemy outside our borders. It also undermines the narrative that it's all Trump's fault when people start feeling like China deserves the blame. Maybe he thinks this will buy him more time?

How would it help Trump? His piss poor leadership on the virus is why we are at 200,000+ dead. Closing the border when the virus was already in the country only delayed the spread. It did save lives but since that historic action he’s done almost nothing but complain, lies, distort the truth, make false claims, publicly trash his advisers and is causing huge confusion over masks. His loyal followers are back to square one thinking they are useless. Congrats to Donald in stepping back to May.

I don’t see any pushback. You don’t get to cry foul when you fling out contrary statements and claim them to be fact but you won’t provide the data. If she has proof then present it with data and let it be peer reviewed.

See I agree that Trump needs an enemy outside our borders because he’s great at manipulation. A common enemy is easier to sell. His problem is that educated Americans can understand something can originate at one place but how you deal with the problem when it’s here is a completely different. If China created this and if it was released on purpose, you deal with that and you also deal with saving lives. HE’S DOING NEITHER.
