Here's a fact. The origin of the outbreak is up for debate.

Hence my point about aliens developing it on Mars. It's up for debate because I brought it up. Is there any actual basis for it? Same as your theory. How come this is a conspiracy theory, and the theory of it coming from a guy eating a bat ( wich people there have been eating thousands of years ), and spread in 2 months over entire globe is just a theory, without the conspiracy part? Why is one being labeled a conspiracy? Would it still be a conspiracy theory, if it said the mutated coronavirus accidentaly came out from that lab?

I get that there are many theories that are unimaginably stupid, and some of them are being labeled conspiracy theories... But why look at all theories as black and white, like, either its a conspiracy = its bullshit, or its not a conspiracy = its almost certainly true?

Cause regular theories also arent true, most of the times. Hell, Newtons theory of gravity wasnt a conspiracy theory, but still Einstein proved it to be wrong. Was Einsteins theory of gravity considered a conspiracy then? Or it wasnt, since that term didnt exist till 60s, right?

It would be great if rightists learned to form opinions on the best evidence available instead of leaping toward outlandish conspiracies whenever there's a need to deflect from some uncomfortable fact (see also, climate change is a hoax, deep state, liberal media, Obamagate, Russia was framed, etc.). I think as you've become more of a rightist authoritarian, you're more annoyed by reasonable posting than you used to be. Not really any more complicated than that.

Default on our debt we owe them would be a great start. After that cut off all imports and any business dealings with government officials from there. It CAN be done, he would have to get the American people fully behind it. Virus being made and released intentionally in China would do it.

They are two separate claims, but often times evidence against 1 is also taken as evidence against 2.

When the lab theory first began circulating it was highly conspicuous how articles conflated those two things. Titles would ask if the virus came from the lab, then lead you to believe it didn't because experts say it's naturally occurring. As if they're mutually exclusive. I'd imagine most of the studying is done on samples from nature.

Consider the facts:
1. Several hundred yards down the street from the ostensible ground zero of the virus is a virus research lab.
2. It is well known that this virus research lab studies bat coronaviruses.
3. It is well known that this lab has lax containment procedures.

So we know a viral pandemic started in the immediate neighborhood of the lab, we know the lab had viruses similar to the one responsible for the pandemic, and we know they are a bit leaky. Given that, it's a reasonable hypothesis that the leaky coronavirus research lab leaked the coronavirus, causing the pandemic that started down the block from the lab.

Your commitment to calling that a wacky theory, as if the virus came from Mars, is being defensive. And it is also stupid.
