Last I heard, Iszy was opening a school in the North Loop. And Junior will be teaching at the Wabash School and the(coming soon) suburban school. Even after the Suburb school opens, Junior will still teach at the Loop school as well. He lives 5 minutes from it and has a part of it. Daniel will be teaching at the

I'm looking for a place in the city to begin BJJ training, but I've got a tight budget, and an even tighter schedule that only allows me time to train before 1PM. during the week. Can anyone suggest a ballpark figure for what the membership fees would be?

Thanks man. Your site is very helpful. I was planning on checking out Carlson's loop gym since they seem to have some decent morning options for training. But Valko is just footsteps from my work, so I'm planning on paying them a visit.

Belt Promotion day! Congrats to Otto Clark, Tony the Tiger Williams and Tommy G for getting their black belts! Guy Africano, BJJ Dave, Anthony “Big Mistakey” Monahan for their brown belts and the blue belts whose name I’d list but I’m lazy.

Also, more morning classes to be added in the new year. Most likely 7 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
