Capitol rioter who wore jacket with his name on it pleads guilty

A rioter who was seen kicking in a window of the US Capitol while wearing a jacket with his name and company phone number on it pleaded guilty Friday to the destruction of federal property, federal authorities said.

Troy Faulkner was caught on camera smashing a Capitol window with his boot on Jan. 6, 2021 while wearing a “Faulkner Painting” jacket that also displayed the phone number of his Columbus, Ohio, business.

Faulkner agreed to pay $10,560 in restitution to cover repairs for the damage and could face up to eight months in jail, his lawyer told NBC News.

After listening to some speeches near the Washington Monument, the two men and a friend joined the mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol and attempted to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.

In April, Robertson was convicted of six crimes: obstruction of Congress, interfering with officers during a civil disorder, entering a restricted area while carrying a dangerous weapon, disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted area while carrying a dangerous weapon, disorderly or disruptive conduct inside the Capitol building, and obstruction.

This guy had a secure job as a police officer, a home, a wife and according to his own text messages, 750k that he won from a disability settlement from a private contracting corporation. But he felt so aggrieved that he was willing to risk everything to the point he is now going to prison. There is some very extreme, wannabe victim mentalities that run deep with these people.
