This is going to be be one of Izzy’s easiest fights. There’s levels to this shit and Strickland ain’t in the same stratosphere. Target practice for Izzy.

The only way Sean wins this is with a grapple heavy gameplan and I’m not sure if he’s good enough of a grappler to implement it.

Even if Sean survives late, he’ll be a punching bag. I’m a huge Izzy hater and hope Sean wins but I really don’t think he can.

Depends on whether or not he can get him biting on feints to change levels. If he can, then his volume could be helpful. If not, and if he provides no real threat of the takedown, then he needs to have improved more than we have seen

Nobody would know Sean Strickland's name if Dana didn't highlight him because he says retarded shit for the shithole states. The guy hasn't really beaten anyone, and doesn't look good doing it, even in winning. When Adesanya is in his safe game, he usually relies on the fact that he can damage an opponent with leg/high kicks, and duck any offence/counter.
Strickland might be the most aggressive, coming-forward opponent of his since Romero. Unlike Romero though, he has a veyr high volume of jabs and combos, and he also might mix it with takedowns (rarely but happens).

I'm not sure that Adesanya can dodge it all. Strickland has an ability to outwork opponents, even if judges don't always see it (like in Cannonier fight)
Maybe Adesanya should aim for the finish, as Stricklands chin is far from being iron...

Strickland is the best striker that Adesanya will have faced in the UFC. This isn't Whittaker. People forget that Strickland was outstriking Pereira before he got caught. Pereira also said that Strickland beat his ass when they trained together.
