You’re very dishonest about Usman. Historically WW have done incredibly well at MW ( GSP, Whittaker, Khamzat). One could even argue WW>MW. Usman is a huge WW and definitely is an elite win even at MW. Khamzat also effortlessly dispatched Holland who was a top10 MW not long ago. You’re grasping straws. For anyone without an agenda it’s clear Khamzat is the best. What you said at the end is correct— what’s the point of discussion if you’re just going to “imagine” it’s some other way? Yes, Khamzat is undefeated, but at MW he’s got Meerschaert (not elite), Usman (elite but a WW), Whittaker, and DDP. He’s really got 2 good MW wins. Two. But since you believe he’d beat all these people and do all these things, you rank him as if he already has. It’s silly.
RDR has just Whittaker and I guess Holland. Personally, I think you’re out of your mind if you think he gets by guys like Vitor, Hendo, or Mousasi in their prime. But regardless, he needs to put together a body of work in the division that’s worthy of being ranked in the top 10 all time.
We could debate the order, but he list should consist of Anderson Silva, Izzy, Weidman, Mousasi, Whittaker, Vitor, Hendo, Rockhold, maybe DDP, Franklin…
Khamzat, Poatan, RDR, Strickland, and Fluffy Hernandez (are you kidding lol?) have no business being anywhere near this list.
What do you have against Strickland? He has a great resume- Izzy, Costa, Imavov, Hall, Hermansson, Allen, Abus Magomedov. He went to split decisions with DDP and Cannonier and got finished by Poatan. No shame in that
