You stating a view built on logical inconsistencies. When you use the, quite literally, same arguments made against those groups then it should lead you to believe that maybe you're approaching this from the wrong angle.

Maybe instead of dying on the hill of calling them mentally ill, as gays were, you can shift gears. Maybe explore conversations regarding better ways we can adjust to a society where trans people exist without over corrections, coddling, or discrimination. Find a functional middle ground.
