Cain Velasquez Trial for Attempted Murder Expected to Begin in January

There can’t be much doubt about Cain being guilty. When all is said and done, however, it’s his kids that are going to really suffer from this, imo. My wishes are that Cain would somehow just be able to sit out his sentence at home with his family rather than in prison, but I know the law says otherwise. If only he had used them bare hands and ripped the guy apart instead.
 
I wonder why didn't Cain just wait for the guy in some dark corner and beat him to a pulp...he would certainly get way less jail time than for the attempted murder.
 
So almost half of you are crazy people. I feel like I've known that for 15 years tbf.

Missing the irony that your heart is bleeding for Cain, or the fun additional irony that in all your Biblical reference, you're supporting the man named Cain, the allegory for the first murder of your 'brother' or fellow man, as Cains attempted. How un-Jesus of you.

As a father, I couldn’t imagine what he was going through mentally. The only thing he is guilty of is not neutralizing his target.

He had the chance. He followed the mom and step dad, watched him walk out of his house and waited for them to drive off before beginning the chase. He could have shot him before he got in the car and most people would be fine with it.

Ripping the guy apart with his bare hands would put him in prison for even longer. The reality of the situation is that the best thing he could have done for his kid is absolutely nothing. I hope some of the hotheads in this thread including yourself seriously think about that. Think about what is best for your children and do that. Just because you have balls and testosterone isn't an excuse for not using your head. Because of Cain's actions his kid not only got molested but is going to spend possibly years without a father. Is attempting street justice worth hurting your own children?

He was temporarily and understandably insane; after realizing why his son had been suffering for no justifiable reason. The dirtbag worked with at least one relative, at least, and was in the process of getting bail with terms of monitoring, while being driven another relative (who doesn’t turn his back on what is likely to be deemed a child molester who shamed his own wife).

Cain was capable of patiently waiting for the right moment. He went insane & understandably so.

The so-called innocent driver was married to the daycare owner, but apparently didn’t put two & two together as to what was happening at that daycare center. Maybe the facts will show there were no obvious clues once it got to the point that Cain put two & two together (sarcasm).

People seem to forget that Cain chased these people in a car at a high speed while randomly firing at the car putting countless other innocent people in danger.
I get it. Cain's situation is really messed up but what if he shot my kid, girl, mom, or brother accidently while he was pulling this stunt trying to get revenge? Listening to a lot of people in this thread that would justify me in chasing and gunning down Cain regardless of who else I put in danger. That's stupid.
Cain needs to take a plea bargain and get 10 years like Torey lanes out in 8.
 
This may be the best thing for him. When he gets out maybe all of those nagging injuries will be gone and he can be HW champ again! War Cain!

Are you suggesting that the driver deserved to be murdered because of what his son did?

Based on most responses in this thread, I think if Cain accidentally shot your child then you have the right to shoot most of his family.
 
After all this time. Do we know if it is Cains son, a relative, his daughter? Wiki even references both son and daughter as victims as if it's not even clear. Were two of cains kids molested?
