Try to make them as short as possible. I'll get us started by listing both why some people might think he IS or ISN'T:

Cain IS Mexican because:

- He likely has Mexican citizenship

- He was raised by two Mexican immigrant parents, so his upbringing, at home at least, was very Mexican

Cain ISN'T Mexican because:

- He was born (less importantly) and grew up (more importantly) in the United States, making him culturally American in many ways

- He lives year-round in the United States

- Though he does have a very good command of the Spanish language, he does not speak the language like a native speaker, like any "real Mexican" would

Cain is an AMERICAN-MEXICAN! No where has he ever stated that he applied for Mexican citizenship. If you don't apply for Mexican citizenship, unless you were born there, YOU DON'T GET IT!

His mother is not an IMMIGRANT! She was born in the U.S.! He was raised in the U.S. How can he live his life VERY Mexican? How do you know he wasn't raised like many of those from Central American countries that actually try NOT to teach their children about their heritage in order to Americanize them?

He does not have a good command of the Spanish language as I speak Spanish and I can say his Spanish sucks and he admits to not being completely fluent in it.
