Cain is American with proud Mexican roots. Normal. Go look in the mirror and wonder why you're proud of your roots.
This thread should have ended here, but it won't.

i guess brian stann is japanese then
Try to make them as short as possible. I'll get us started by listing both why some people might think he IS or ISN'T:
Cain IS Mexican because:
- He likely has Mexican citizenship
- He was raised by two Mexican immigrant parents, so his upbringing, at home at least, was very Mexican
Cain ISN'T Mexican because:
- He was born (less importantly) and grew up (more importantly) in the United States, making him culturally American in many ways
- He lives year-round in the United States
- Though he does have a very good command of the Spanish language, he does not speak the language like a native speaker, like any "real Mexican" would
Thoughts?
- He's had the "Brown Pride" tattoo before he was even in the UFC so squash your "Cains only Mexican for marketing purposes" theory.
- Cain identifies himself as Mexican.
- CHALLENGE: FIND ME A PICTURE OF CAIN HOLDING AN AMERICAN FLAG

He's talking about his heritage when he says hes Mexican. It's very common in the US.
I was raised by immigrants (Portuguese parents) who know little English with heavy Portuguese culture at home. I'm still American. Most American's are very proud of their heritage like me and Cain. We're still American. If people ask me what I am I say Portuguese. It's so simple.
That's what Americans do.

I'm pretty sure his mother is from America, his father met her here when he came over
My thought is you are trolling.....what the hell difference does it make if he is or is NOT a Mexican...? He is the HW Champion, he is a great fighter....what does his color, nationality, religion, sexual preference, IQ, educational level, or sperm count have to do with anything....? End this stupid ass thread!
C'mon brother, you can do better than that lol.
It would have been tough because the United States did not exist when he was born.
Technically neither were the first 7 Presidents.
No man. That was pretty good. Just admit it. He got you.
More on topic, why isn't Tito the first Mexican champ then?
