I always underestimate the sheer toughness of certain fighters. Melk clearly the much, much better fighter (skill wise). That pressure was hard to deal with though.

Too bad Erosa gassed in R2. He didn't have his usual cardio to push a pace in R3. Costa was let off the hook because Erosa was moving so slow and was missing with a lot.

Part of that was him eating hard shots early. Got wobbled badly by the head kick and took a lot of clean shots to the jaw. That will sap cardio.

Also...35 years old. Sometimes thats the age where the cardio can fall off. You could tell he still wanted to push the pace but had been too depleted to throw with real heat.

R3: It depends on who is judging because Ruziboev landed the better strikes on the feet, but Stoltzfus got a take down but didn't attempt to pass, go for subs, and didn't throw one strike afaik.

Nursulton Ruziboev 2-1 at least, imo.

That actually makes sense because if you watch the face-offs after the weigh-in, Bellato was breathing weird.
