bum attacks

i was in jamaica once and this old bummy lady comes up from behind and grabs me (it startled me, because im thinking some ones trying to rob me or something) i turn around fast as shit and grabbed her wrist and told her dont touch me, then she started to cry. crazy bitch.

was expecting something along the lines of this

I've seen this same bum on the same corner for the past 2 years. He is dressed pretty nice for a bum too and the winters here get cold so he is fairly resilient. I don't know how long term bums do it. How they manage to survive. I would not be able to cope with being homeless. I am not that resourceful.

When I was on senior trip in High School we went to DC, my friend and I sat on a sidewalk while everyone else in the class was in the Hard Rock. I put my hat upside down on the sidewalk and we told people we were stranded and needed money to get bus tickets home to Colorado. We made just over $80 in an hour.

I'm almost never nice to those mother fuckers honestly. They ask for something and I say, "Nope." and ignore them. In my opinion it's the best way to handle those situations. If you try to be nice they think you're weak and either don't leave you alone or try something violent.

One time a couple of them approached me and my mom as we pulled up in her car to a gas station. The one asks for a ride, I say, "Nope." and ignore him, the other one asks for some change, I say "Nope." and proceed to pump gas. They tried to approach my mom as she was walking into the gas station and I say, "Don't fuckign talk to her, don't fucking look at her, don't even think about her later on when you're sleeping in your box or I'll tie you two bummy mother fuckers in a knot." They just looked at each other and walked off shaking their heads and muttering something about being Army vets.

I was nice to a bum one time. He had a mountain bike loaded with tons of crap and had a flat tire. I had a spare tube (that was actually too big for his tire) in my car so I gave it to him and even helped him change the tube. But this guy was clear headed, polite, and genuine as hell. He just saw the bike rack on my car and asked if I could help him with a bike problem. After we were done I gave him a 20 dollar bill and he tried to refuse it for a second. The dude really impressed me, for being a bum anyway.

Never shake a bum's hand, you idiot.

I have to agree... I try to be nice to homeless people because obviously they are having a pretty sh!tty time with life, but I draw the line at physical contact. No telling what kind of gross stuff they have on them.

Kids and women probably get a lot of charity their way. But the typical bum is an older, crackheadish looking male.

should've just gave him a dollar to get lost.

Or you can out crazy him and make weird faces with noises to scare him off.

True, I think most who gave us anything knew we were BS-ing them, they most all had smiles on their faces. :)

Wait. So you did not punch the bum in the face?

i was harassed by a pair of bums last week. they just wanted some charity and free therapy, but it's always uneasy because they have nothing to lose and they're always fucked up on something. when the second one approached me and my friend, i was sure it was their mugging/murder routine. luckily i escaped with my life.

at one point the guy was saying how great he used to be, some staff sgt., and wanted to prove it to me by showing me his ID. When he reached in his pocket i was like "oh fuck..." but i misjudged him.

The worst thing about them is you can't be like "ok man, gotta go" without them getting offended.

Don't go around punching people unless it is absolutely unavoidable. Going around punching random people have real life consequences.

Meh, some times a good strong punch is exactly what solves the situation.

Bums aren't really people though

Aren't you the guy who just got out of jail? I guess you should know about that stuff.

Wait. So you did not punch the bum in the face?

haha, no...and i didn't want to.

i had just gotten off work, and i wanted to enjoy my buzz with a ciggie. the last thing i wanted to do was get in a fight with a dirty-ass bum.

Thought this thread was about anal sex. Disappoint.

it's practically impossible to not interact with bums every now and then in this city, and usually things are ok.

i guess i made this thread because it's not often that this kind of stuff happens to me.
